Come enjoy some downtime on the beautiful Tennessee River at this recently renovated river front cottage. This beautiful cottage is just steps away from the water’s edge with gorgeous views of the river from every room. There is a unique rock ledge that is ideal for sunbathing or fishing. You won’t need to leave the cottage for anything, but if you crave a little adventure, you’re just 30 minutes away from charming Savannah or historic Shiloh National Military Park.

The space
This cottage is located on the banks of the beautiful Tennessee River. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and an open floor plan that combines the kitchen, dining area and living space in one large area. The large screen TV can be viewed from from every area in this open plan. There is a swing beside the river, a fire pit with plenty of firewood, and a sturdy picnic table. A spacious porch faces the river with comfortable seating for river watching, reading or just relaxing. A table seating 6 is on the porch and another table on the grilling patio accommodates 4. Both are in close proximity to each other for ease of conversation. A charcoal grill, with charcoal and lighter fluid, is provided for your convenience. You may desire to stay and never leave the cottage, but if you do, check out Savannah, with it’s quaint antique shops, beautiful boutiques, a Tennessee River Museum and a historical district featuring numerous antebellum homes. Or, if you are a history buff, enjoy a trip to Shiloh Park, but be sure to allow time for a fantastic catfish dinner at Hagy’s Hotel Catfish Restaurant, one of the oldest family owned restaurants in the country, located at 1140 Hagy Lane, Shiloh, TN, on the banks of the beautiful Tennessee River.

Hi, I’m Yolanda and my husband’s name is Mike. Thanks for stopping by and checking out our River Retreat. We love spending time relaxing, boating and fishing at the Tennessee River and thought others might too. We recently renovated this charming cottage next door to us so others can experience the joy of waking up to a sun rise over the river or watching the moon glistening off the water as you sit around a campfire and prepare S’Mores. Maybe you prefer having that first cup of coffee In the stillness of the morning as you watch a barge come round the bend or witness the flight of an eagle as he soars by and settles in the treetop which is located at the water’s edge of the property, which is becoming a favorite place for them to perch. Whatever it is you like to do, fishing, reading, boating or watching the forever changing river, you can find it all right here at the Tennessee River Retreat.
