About this listing
Nestled on the side of Butternut Mountain, this cozy home is private and peaceful - offering beautiful views, gardens, birds, a running stream and is within walking distance of the Long Trail. 5 minutes from Johnson State College, 7 minutes to a sweet little yoga studio and a good coffee shop, 30 minutes from Stowe and 20 minutes to Smuggler's Notch.
THE BASIC RENTAL IS ONE GUEST BEDROOM WITH A FULL SIZE BED, PRIVATE BATHROOM BUT SHARED SHOWER, FOR ONE OR TWO PEOPLE, MAX.
If you are more than 2, I am willing to discuss renting out the master bedroom with private half bath and tub (you can find this under the listing "Green Mountain Sanctuary 2"), another room with a blow up mattress, and possibly the whole house.
My home is my sanctuary and I like to share that experience with others. I have WiFi and good reception for Verizon Wireless. Please plan on using WiFi for e-mail and searching, not watching movies of shows, as I have limited data. If this is important we could arrange for an additional feel ). I have a TV but it is only set up for movies and the "fireplace" listed is actually a windowed woodstove (so you still get to see the fire :-))
I love animals and don't currently have any of my own. If yours is well-behaved, let's talk. Please don't bring your pet without arranging with me first.
As this is my home and MY sanctuary as well, I ask that you treat it with care and respect. Only slippers, socks or bare feet in the house please - I have white rugs and hardwood floors.
You are welcome to use the fridge.
I don't "serve breakfast" but you can usually count on tea, coffee, fruit and toast, again, as long as I am here.
I appreciate quiet between 10-ish and 7 but I am usually up before my guests, anyway.
Looking forward to meeting you!

I am a life and business coach, and design workshops using combinations of coaching, movement, painting and nature as reflection to facilitate greater self-awareness and well-being.
I love my little piece of heaven, making things beautiful and creating inviting spaces for people.
Although I have no animals of my own at the moment, all creatures - wild and domesticated - take up the majority of real estate in my heart.
I am warm and friendly, and appreciate silence and solitude. I like celebrating and being peaceful.
I like working, dance, music, asking the big questions, and innovative thinking.
What I am most interested in is how to develop deep, loving relationships with ourselves so we can more easily express our gifts and make our contribution to the evolution of the planet, and Life itself. Sounds lofty but I'm just as happy discussing it over a fabulous meal and great wine!
