The Space

This is an beautiful, new studio in the heart of the city. It's right across the street from famous Library Square, and it's 3 diagonal blocks from the Salt Palace Convention Center. It's walking distance to all of the great downtown sites, and it has all of the amenities that you'll need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances & utensils that you'll need during your stay and the dining room table will comfortably seat 4 people. There is a small private deck off of the back and a large raised patio area in the front with a breathtaking view of the mountains (see picture).

There is a parking space free of charge in case you bring a vehicle.
With this location, you get the best of both worlds: You're inside the city, yet you're practically right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. There are plenty of restaurants within a block and Washington Square and Library Square are right across the street.

Normally the minimum stay is 4 nights. Shorter stays are accepted, but 4 nights will be charged. Even at this rate, we're still a better deal than our competitors with all of their hidden fees.

  • Daniel is great. Very customer service oriented, responsive and nice. Place was great. Only negative is I think 3 blocks is a stretch. It was more like 3 blocks north and then 3 blocks west. Perhaps that equals 3 but seemed more like 6+ to us. 20 minute walk to Salt Palace. No biggie, just worth mentioning. All else was great. If you go to Park City one night eat at 501 Main, especially if you are Gluten free. Great time. We will come back to Daniel's place again, if he'll have us...

  • Well equipped, comfortable unit. Great location, close to supermarkets with 3 restaurants in the same block and the tram in the next street. Salt Lake is central to so many national parks - Yellowstone , Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, Moab and we made it to Mesa Verde as well. Would really recommend the apartment.

  • A colleague and I stayed here for a few days while attending a conference at the Library. The location was perfect and Daniel was a very friendly, helpful, and accommodating host. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This is a cute & cozy 3rd floor studio apartment, located right in the heart of downtown SLC. it's nothing fancy, but is clean and comfortable, and has everything you really need. A few steps outside the front door is a public area patio with a nice view of the mountains. Daniel was a great host - he met us upon arrival and answered all of our questions. Would definitely look to stay hear again on future trips to SLC.

  • Daniel was a great host. Apartment is as listed, spacious, photos are accurate, and it was very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Did not use the parking space or bike, but those are very nice amenities. I would stay again, and would definitely recommend this place and Daniel as a host.

  • This studio worked great for me on my recent trip to SLC. It was simple, but had everything that I needed (even a bicycle). The location is great! Right across from the Library and just upstairs from a coffee shop/bakery, Thai, Pizza, and Italian restaurants. The garage parking was also a bonus on a few of the rainy days. Daniel made a point to mention there was a noise maker in case it was too loud which had me worried, but the whole time I was there noise was never an issue. If you need a simple place with a great location for a much better value than a hotel room this is for you.

  • Three is us stayed at this lovely apartment for the Usana Convention in August. Daniel was a very gracious host, meeting us at the front to let us in & then returned with a bath mat & phone that a family member had sent to us care of Daniel. He was full of interesting information about the Utah area. He also kindly dropped us to the organic whole foods store which is about 3 blocks from the apartment. We walked to the Convention centre but it is easy to catch the free trolley from Library square & change at Courthouse. We had a fabulous stay & the apartment was clean & new. Thanks Daniel!

  • Daniel was a gracious greeter at our late arrival into Salt Lake City and more than helpful in getting us settled. We loved the Studio location in downtown and greatly enjoyed our time while staying there. We'd come back for more of the same!

  • Daniel did a great job to make our stay as nice as possible. We ran into some mechanical issues, but he went well out of his way to work through them and make us comfortable. I hightly recommend Daniel and WILL call him for my next visit to SLC.

About
I'm the owner (and everything else!) of Wasatch Vacation Homes. I'm originally from Wahiawa, Hawaii but moved here to enjoy the Rocky Mountains and everything they have to offer. Before starting up this company, I served on active duty in the United States Army as a captain. I have several properties along the Wasatch Front Mountain Range, and I specialize in older, exquisitely-renovated single-family homes that are furnished with antiques and high-end furnishings. I also have a few downtown condos & studios. I cater to families, corporate groups, and groups of skiers/mountain bikers. Unlike the big vacation rental companies, I will actually show up to greet you when you arrive and I'll personally be available if you need me. All of my homes are in and around the Salt Lake City downtown area. I chose this area so that my guests can explore the majestic beauty of the many secluded canyons along the Wasatch & Oquirrh mountain ranges, ski the world-famous Utah ski resorts, or mountain bike the challenging trails of the Uinta Mountains. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, or simply need a place to rest between skiing the slopes, staying in a Wasatch Vacation Home will allow you to enjoy your trip without the hassle and high price of a hotel!
