My cozy country bungalow is warm, inviting, and comfortable, yet offers many modern amenities such as wifi, central air, Keurig coffee pot,microwave and full kitchen. Bedrooms are cozy, and a place to rest & recharge. Spacious backyard with a farm view, and front porch to relax. Convenient location close to several nearby interstates for easy travel. Great place to visit during every season of the year! Take in the scenery, or even enjoy other local farms, and their seasonal produce &offerings!

The space
Welcoming and stylish space small yet comfortable, safe and private. The yard offers beautiful country views during any season with the family farm in the backdrop. Now with Fall in full swing, it’s harvest time at the farm, and the beautiful leaves are changing providing for a picturesque view of the farm.
The bedrooms are cozy. With all linens provided with extra pillows and blankets available for your use. Bedrooms also offer modern amenities such as lamps with easy access plugs and USB connections so you can keep all your devices charged and ready to go. The second floor of the home is also well appointed and offers a twin bed, dresser and a sitting area with a TV and recliner. You will also find a portable a/c unit to keep it cool in the summer months as well as other modern gadgets such as USB plugins located on the bedroom lamp and a Dyson fan you can use for extra airflow either cool or warm if needed for your added comfort. The fan also offers added heat in the winter as well as air purification of the second floor space. The fans blade-less technology helps to keep the safety of younger guests in mind while enjoying the space. This will allow you to rest comfortably and enjoy a restful sleep in the second floor bedroom space. However, the steps to this space are a bit steep and may not be best suited for a very tall person over 6 foot 1. However, the first floor of the home would be perfect for any guest who may struggle with the steps or whom are on the taller side. The first floor offers a living room space with several comfortable reclining chairs for your comfort which includes a full size couch with built in recliners, Samsung Smart TV connected to wifi to easily access your subscriptions to Netflix or Amazon prime and many others. Also, you will have free access to several local and regional TV channels, Bose sound-bar and blue ray player that are great for watching a rented movie or a blue ray movie you bring along. The bedroom offers a queen size bed and comfortable linens.
Kitchen area offers a microwave, Keurig coffee pot with a variety of k-cups and individual creamers, sugar and sugar substitutes provided. Also, provided for use are a stove and refrigerator, cooking oil, salt and pepper, pans, cooking utensils and mixing bowls among many other things in the fully stocked kitchen. You will find plates, cups and silverware also available for guest use. Kitchen towels and dish soap also available for your use during your visit. So enjoy a home cooked meal with ease during your visit.
A small dining table is offered in the kitchen and a more spacious area in the dining room is available for larger meals or to use as workspace if needed in addition to the small writing desk provided.
The bathroom offers a tub/shower combination and vanity with linens provided. On the first floor you will also find access to the front porch where you can sit and enjoy the scenery and access of the spacious yard. To access the home from the front or rear does require using a few steps. Please keep in mind there is no ground entry to the home.

Safety First:
My bungalow is Breezeway Safety Certified, so you can rest assured you will have both comfortable and safe accommodations, as I take safety very seriously. My bungalow was inspected and certified meeting some of the highest safety standards in the industry put forth by Breezeway.

Guest access
The spacious yard and the entire home including the attached front porch where you can relax on wicker patio furniture or an Adirondack chair. Also, available is a small fire pit where you can have a small campfire while star gazing.
(Firewood can be purchased locally at several local retailers specific locations provided in the check in guide.)

Other things to note
Please note I enjoy to scent the home with glade plug in essential oils and like to leave some snacks for you to enjoy from time to time so just let me know if you may have any allergies to foods or detergents. I tend to use gain or tide for laundry of linens that I provide for guests. Also, I do have Samsung laundry appliances available in the basement. However, I ask you only try to use them if it’s a more emergent situation or you are staying for a longer more extended stay. Also, during your stay if you should need any cleaning supplies these are made available in the bathroom closet.

Neighborhood highlights

The bungalow is situated in a safe, quiet and comfortable neighborhood. With easy access to several nearby interstates (I-76(3/min), I-680(1/min), I-80(20/min)) to get you where you need to go whether for business travel or for a day of leisure and exploration of a nearby city or town. These include nearby Youngstown and also small historic towns such as Columbiana, Poland and Canfield. Two large metropolitan cities that are just a short car ride away include both Cleveland(1.5/hrs) and Pittsburgh(1/hr). The bungalow is also a short 40/min drive from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and 1/hr from Akron Canton Regional Airport (CAK).

I have provided a check in guide that you can review at your leisure upon your arrival or before your stay using the AirBnB App. The guide shares some of my favorite local points of interest such as dining venues, shopping and more. Also, inside the guide you will find my contact information listed, and a reminder of some general rules of the home that are the same you review and agree to here when making your reservation.
Included in the guide are several seasonal agricultural experiences you may wish to experience during your visit such as farmers markets in the summer months and other family friendly activities in the area such as corn mazes, hike and bike trails, skiing at Brandywine, or simply take a walk on the family farm taking in nature’s beauty any time of the year. However, before venturing out onto the property for an adventure I just ask you check in with me first so I can keep your safety in mind and make you aware of any farm operations that maybe taking place, as you will be visiting and staying on active agricultural land.

The bungalow is also in close proximity of nearby; Youngstown State University(10/min), Mercy Health Hospitals(5-10/min), Mill Creek Metro Park(14/min), The Covelli Centre(10/min), The Youngstown Business Incubator(12/min) and the Canfield Fairgrounds(15/min) the Mahoning County Fairgrounds hosts many events throughout the year and is home to the largest county fair east of the Mississippi River each year occuring 6 days through Labor Day beginning the Wednesday prior.

If your visiting for a local wedding or event the bungalow is situated in very close distance to several nearby wedding and event venues including; The Lake Club(3/min), The Vineyards at Pine Lake(8/min), Mr Anthony’s(6/min), Holiday Inn Boardman(6/min), The Embassy(9/min), The Links At Firestone Farms(13/min), among many others.

During your stay help support local agriculture and shop local or visit a locally owned resturant or bar or Vineyard. Included in the welcome check in guide you will find local farmers markets where you can find farm fresh produce (seasonal) so you can even enjoy and prepare a farm to table meal during your visit.

While visiting the Bungalow in December, enjoy the magic of Christmas, and while visiting the area, enjoy many local nearby Christmas light displays at both Boardman Township Park and Firestone Park. For a bigger adventure take a ride to Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA or Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV., with both venues offering beautiful Christmas Light displays that are within just 1-2 hours of driving time from the bungalow.

I’m Kyle, I’d say I’m fun and outgoing. I enjoy traveling and trying and learning new things. I currently work a professional job and I also keep busy with the daily farm duties to continue the family legacy. I really have enjoyed hosting thus far and meeting new people when time allows. I feel I have a great cozy bungalow with a country feel but it’s also yet in close proximity of pretty much everything one may need with just a short car ride. The home is located in a safe, private and quiet location and offers private access and driveway separate of the main family farm homestead. The space can provide a much needed retreat when you need to relax and just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Also, if your visiting the area for work the small home also will offer a comfortable place to unwind after a days work or the home can also offer the space needed to work remotely with access to high speed internet and a small work desk. The farm is a beautiful place to call home and I couldn’t be more proud of my roots here, our family farm has been here for well over 150 years and with great honor has been distinguished as a sesquicentennial farm by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. I would love to invite you to come and visit and experience it for yourself.
