You will have a separate entrance, bathroom & kitchenette with modern conveniences such as a coffee machine, microwave & oven. The space
Galahad's Animal Sanctuary is set on 30 acres and is an animal rescue sanctuary. Galahad's Animal Sanctuary has rescued many animals, including camels, horses, donkeys, cows, sheep, alpacas, chickens and a rooster as well as dogs. When you stay with us, all proceeds go to the feed and care of all the animals at Galahad's Sanctuary. We will provide you with a small free tour of the sanctuary at no additional charge.

The property has two dams, it is well treed with large open spaces and has a beautiful view to Mount Macedon. Kangaroos, Possums and Echidna's also live here.

You will be able to walk around the property, however please stay out of the animal paddocks without supervision, as there are large animals such as horses and camels in these paddocks.

Please note this is a working farm environment, it sometimes can be messy and smell like animals. Animals can be noisy e.g. a rooster who crows in the morning, and a camel who growls when she is pleased to see you. Not to mention the donkeys!

Please remember to ensure the gates are always closed behind you.

The rate includes a small tour of our farm sanctuary. If you would like a tour with professional photography please contact Lynne for details.

Further details on the stories of our animals and our mission can be found here: www galahads sanctuary com

Guest access
You will be able to walk around all the property, however please stay out of the properties paddocks without supervision, as there are large animals such as horses and camels in these paddocks.

There are beautiful areas for picnics or just to sit and watch the animals.

Other things to note
Dogs are permitted but must be well behaved and not chase livestock or escape their B&B yard. For everyone’s safety, you must keep your dogs on a lead at all times and under close control. If you leave your dog in the yard while you visit the animals, please make sure they can’t slip out to follow you. If your dog finds being separated stressful, we recommend leaving them safely inside the B&B instead. Our paddocks are protected by guardian animals such as donkeys, alpacas, and steers, so if a dog were to wander in amongst the animals, there is a risk they could be perceived as a threat and injured. By choosing to bring your dog, you acknowledge that they remain your responsibility and that any injury is at your own risk.

Our home runs off water tanks so we ask that you are responsible with your water usage.

Gumboots are good (we have spare), and it gets chilly at night in Winter so bring your warm woollies. The stars are splendid.

An optional extra is for a professional photographer to capture this special time together with the animals. Duration varies, but around an hour. Includes photos supplied after professional editing with a download link. This extra experience is not only great for the photo album but also goes toward the feed and care of the animals at our sanctuary.

We can also provide you a tour of the farm on arrival and introduce you to all our animal ambassadors.

Please see website for further details of the Sanctuary and what is available at galahads sanctuary com.
