The space
The home is not fancy or pretentious--a perfect getaway destination home - tons of room, a great kitchen, toys, and games plus a backyard for kids and pets to roam and play in the water with floaties and pool toys. You don't need to go anywhere to have an amazing stay.
The huge backyard has a stainless steel BBQ Grill and a brand new aluminum Kettler Ping-Pong table. The oceanfront home sits on an estate-sized lot measuring approximately 70 feet wide by 180 feet deep. The fenced and gated back yard is approximately 5000 square feet and the large grassy front yard is great for playing soccer with the kids. There is even a 24-foot by 30-foot pool deck with ocean view seating for 16 persons along with additional seating and a large above-ground Hot Tub with ocean views. If you wish the pool to be heated, there is an additional fee: 85* - $99/night.

Excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated, and we have the right to vacate you from the property should this be an issue. No RVs, trailers, oversized or commercial vehicles allowed.

A. Early check in is not always available. If the house is booked the night before you arrive, that means that there is a group leaving that morning at the 10:00 check out time and our cleaning crew starts working. Our cleaning crews are using the full 6 hours between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm to clean the house, particularly with Covid protocols. Even if there is no group using the house the night before your arrival, that does not mean that early check in is available. We manage several houses and have cleaning crews working at different properties at different times, there may be maintenance being performed, etc. If early check in is available, the fees are as follows:

Sunset Cliffs is a great location--just two blocks away is a little village retail area with shops and restaurants. Walking several blocks further brings you to the Ocean Beach pier which is the longest pleasure pier on the West Coast. There are hundreds of food and entertainment choices in nearby Ocean Beach. The amazing San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland and the sights of Mexico are just a half-hour by car.
There are 5 sandy cove beaches nestled among the bluffs and the closest small cove beach (50 feet wide by 20 feet deep) is two blocks north of the house away and a large cove beach (approx. 400 feet wide by 50 feet deep) is two blocks south. For the closest beach with lifeguard towers you can take the kids to nearby Ocean Beach that stretches from the Ocean Beach pier (north of Villa Mar Vista) to the Mission Bay channel. This life guarded beach is totally flat with no bluffs and is over 1/2 mile long by 200 feet wide--it is a huge beach.
