My work: Invision Services, Inc. Founding Director
Lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina
A native Minnesotan, I have been in the Hillsborough/Chapel Hill/Durham area since 1985. I enjoy being outdoors. watching a good storm roll in, and winter's solitude found in my native north.
I am always up for a road trip to see what's around the next corner and hear the stories of people and their places.
I believe in Place, Community, Partnership, Service, Solitude, and Good Hot Coffee.
I also believe in Hygge, that Danish culture quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that nurtures the feelings of contentment and well-being.
You will find hygge in the cozy comfort of this west Hillsborough Mill House or The Store (old general store) turned into a creative retreat in the sanctuary of a green back yard.
Two blocks from the Riverwalk along the Eno, The Store and the Mill House are both a short walk to downtown restaurants, CupaJoe, Wooden Nickel Pub, Nomad, Purple Crow Books, Hillsborough Public Library, and Weaver Street Market Coop. It’s an even shorter one block walk south down the Nash Street hill past restored Bellvue Mill to Hillsborough BBQ, Nash Street Tavern, Napoli Pizza, and Whippet's Frozen Custard.
