First experience of Airbnb couldn't have gone better. The cottage was very warm and cosy and we were given a full tour when we arrived. It was very clean and tidy and supplied with everything we could need. The peace and quiet and a star filled sky at night made it the perfect place to rest and relax for the weekend. Enjoyed the scenery and surfing the local breaks.
We were given fresh eggs on Sunday morning which we enjoyed very much :) Fiona and Seamus were super friendly and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
After a long travel day, we were delighted to arrive at the scenic cottage of Fiona & Seamus, out in the rich, rain-drenched countryside. We were surrounded by sheep & cows & Shetland ponies, kelly-green hills, and a backdrop of the raw rock mountains of Glenveagh National Park. Fiona greeted us warmly, invited us to pilfer through her impressive greenhouse if we wanted to cook, and brought a small bowl filled with eggs from her chickens. The guesthouse was clean and tidy and very well-appointed. Our hosts were congenial and helpful . We would recommend this place to anyone traveling nearby as a restful spot in a landscape resembling a scene from a movie.
Very nice welcome at our arrival. Fiona and Seamus are very nice and helpful. Delicious fresh eggs everyday! The house is lovely and well furnished with a fire place. The landscape around is wonderful. The best place if you like nature . It is exactly what we were looking for .
Driving down the one track road lead us to Fiona and Seamus's lovely cottage. Saying hello to both Seamus and the chickens on arrival we admired the beautiful view of Errigal and soaked up the peace and quiet. The cottage itself had all the space we needed along with a great little kitchen to rustle up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dishwasher and washing machine/dryer was very helpful too. On our last day we were greeted with fresh eggs from the chickens which has convinced us to get chickens of our own. Fiona and Seamus were great hosts and we would recommend a stay at this peaceful little place to anyone.
Dolores and I had a lovely time in the cottage. Fiona and Seamus were good hosts. They supplied us with Prosecco on arrival; fresh eggs; wood for the stove; and local directions. The cottage was perfect for our needs and faces south to Mount Errigal and is approximately equidistant to Gortahork and Falcarragh in a lovely location. The local Pub and Indian restaurant is about one and a half miles away.
We stayed at the cottage for one week and had just a brilliant time! the house is very cosy and Seamus and Fiona fantastic hosts. We loved the beautiful walks one can do around the house.
