This is one unit apartment (loft) in the centre of Barcelona. It is newly reformed in a building of more than 100 years.
A small but nicely furnished and cozy on the 2 floor ( without elevator)
The window opens in a interior courtyard. Equiped with cooling and heating system.
Seeping capacity for 4 people. Idea for friends, or a couple. There are 2 beds on the attic as it can be seen in the photos and the sofa can also be converted to a comfortable full size double bed.
This 21 m2 apartment unit is on the second floor and newly renovated with an attic as sleeping area and the rest is living area with a mini kitchen and a complete bathroom. The apartment well furnished and is very comfortable and very centrally located.
Kitchen: is equipped with ,electric cook top, microwave and mini fridge.
All the necessary utensils, plates, glasses and pots are present.
Extra services: Bed sheets, towels and the blankets are provided. CLEANING FEES: 10€
This apartment is equiped with WiFi ADSL 24 hour service.
Walking distance from the beach,port, comercial centre, metro (underground train)a lot of museums, theatres and so on.
Very well conected with Metro ( undergound train ) and bus stop, only about 500meters from this apartment. Just walking distance from a lot of important historical and cultural places. The beach is just 20minutes walk. The world famous ramblas is just 2 minutes walk from here.

Guests are expected to enjoy their vacations and feel at home. The important point is not to disturb the neighbours.
The keys are given to the guest at arrival and the explaination of how things functions in the house. It is always a pleasure to explain them whatever they may like to know.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT and BEHAVIOUR:-
All our apartments are in residential buildings which means that the owner has strict house rules which must be followed by all guests. As of respect to the neighbours we do not allow any loud music or any disturbing noise in general as well as any invited guests or parties. Liability for the owner with regards to complaints which result in FINES and PENALTIES (which could be up to 3000euros ) are to be covered in full by the client responsible for the disturbance. Furthermore, please, be careful when entering the staircase: do not slam the doors or make noise when arriving and leaving the apartment.

cancellation initiated by the owner will entitle the client to a refund of his or her pre payment ex his or her transfer costs.
If the apartment is for any reason not in rental condition at the time of arrival, ie in the case of damage, such as leakage (or any other conditions making the apartment un-liveable), the owner has the right to cancel a booking for this specific apartment and reserves the right to transfer clients to an equivalent accommodation at its discretion.
If an alternative apartment is not available the owner will then refund the pre-payment.
the owner will do its best to assist the client to find a suitable solution of alternative accommodation, but will by no means be held responsible to do so.
Please advice us before hand of your arrival and departure time.
Upon arrival at the airport please call the number stated in the confirmation email, to advice the owner about your arrival which will give them time to travel to the apartment to be there for your arrival. If you experience any delays please notify the owner at your earliest convenience.
In case of any problems or non satisfaction with the apartment this needs to be reported as soon as possible to the owner. We can only amend the problem by being informed about it. If a claim is submitted after the departure, we would not be able to compensate you. With specific regards to the apartments cleanliness, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with the condition of the apartment the owner requires that you inform immediately so this can be rectified. Claims made after departure will not be considered.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. In case of breach of this rule only one third of deposit will be refunded, the remainder will be used to pay the special deodorization of the apartment.
Our apartments are non-smoking apartments: if you are a smoker, you are only allowed to smoke on the balcony! Please, respect this as the following clients might be non-smokers or allergic to smoke. Please, do not throw cigarette butts down into the street or patios.

Please note as indicated on our web site, that if you arrive to the apartment after 21:00 we have to add an additional check in fee, the fees are as follows:
After 21.00 : 20,00EUR
After 23.00 : 30.00EUR

When leaving the apartment, please, turn off all electric equipment such as air conditioning and fans as well as switching off all lights, Televisions and music since we try to conserve energy. Furthermore, please, take down the garbage; you can leave the garbage on the street next to the main door, ONLY FROM 20:00 to 22:00 every day.
When you leave the apartment, please, remember your keys: the doors slam and without the key, you cannot enter the apartment! You can contact the owner in order to gain access to the apartment. In case you loose the keys, the owner will deduct 25 € from the damage deposit for each set of keys (website hidden) case you loose your keys, you must inform the owner immediately!
A detailed copy of the house rules will be present in each apartment. Please, read them carefully since in case of failure to follow the the owner house rules, you will loose the 150 euro deposit paid upon arrival and be asked to leave the apartment without compensation. You may also be liable to pay disturbance fines.
The owner is not responsible for any personal damages or injuries which may occur during your stay in the apartment, the client indemnifies the owner from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event or function, the client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client.
The owner will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its control: Force Majeur which includes acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, strikes, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, snow conditions, lift closures, road closures, floods, or acts or restraints imposed by government (website hidden) such cases, the owner reserves the right to transfer clients to an equivalent accommodation at its discretion; if an alternative apartment is not available the owner will then return the pre-payment. The owner will do its best to assist the client to find a suitable solution of alternative accommodation, but will by no means be held responsible to do so.
The owner does not accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, luggage and other personal belongings from the apartments.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of the clients, their guests or sub-contractors and will pay to the owner the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
The damage deposit will be held until the amendment of damages has been rectified.

From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Ibilola was very communicative both before arrival and while we were there. When we had a slight issue with the wifi, she had it fixed within minutes. The apartment was as described: cozy, minimalist but full of character (cool loft situation which we did not use, but can fit more people for sleeping) and had a great air condition (super important for July, when we were there.) The location is right in middle of the action - right off La Rambles, yet we did not hear noise from the street.
This studio apartment is ideally located and has all the basics. It's a little bigger than I was expecting and was great for our needs. It was easy to find directly off the La Rambla and so close to the gothic quarter for shopping, food and bars. The house rules are basically being courteous to the neighbours and not being too loud after hours. Would definitely recommend for a couple or a few friends who want to stay in the central area. Ibilola was easy to contact and quick to reply and while her friend met us when we arrive he gave us some good advice and gave his number if we needed any help.
We had a great time in Barcelona. The room was near the Ramblas. The room has all the basic necessities.
Had a nice stay here! The aircon was very useful and the location was very good. The host met us even if we arrived late.
Ibilola wasn't there to greet us but her friend was. He was very helpful.
The apt itself is a couple flights up some narrow stairs so it was a lot of lugging around.
The apt is just as pictured, the AC really helped with it being summer. The mattresses in the loft was a bit uncomfortable for me so I spent my nights on the couch/bed downstairs which was good for me. My friend slept fine in the loft. The bathroom was extremely tiny, and low ceiling in the shower cause it's elevated. I'm about 5'6 and if your any taller you might have to crouch a little.
Ibilola's place is in a fun area within walking distance of great food, lots of tours, and historical locations to the city. It's also near a Metro stop and an easy access area to late night and early morning taxi's. The building was very quiet every evening and the wing for her rentals is super secure. There's a concealed kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and dishes and a refrigerator and stove if you choose to cook. I had a great stay at Ibola's unit, but did run into some complications with the check in time. My flight landed at 2:10am and even though I willingly offered to pay for an additional night to secure the unit, and would have also paid an additional fee for a late check in, Ibilola wasn't very flexible in giving me that option. She adamantly requested that the check in time was set for 12:00pm. This is just something to keep in mind if you enter the city and want to stay in her unit much earlier than 12:00pm.
Ibilola was great, very helpful especially to get us there from the airport. The apartment itself was just as advertised, with the added bonus that the AC was GREAT. I did think it was a little weird that we had to pay someone 30 euro in cash for a late check-in, I'd assumed when she mentioned it that it was a formal policy through AirBnB, but really that's my only complaint. The unit has fast WIFI, an actual shower (not just a shower head you have to hold over your head like many other places in Europe) and the location cannot be beat - right off Las Ramblas but quiet! Would definitely stay here again.
