great flat on the artistic private passeig where artist 'miro' was born. The 18th century french windows and balcony could be the high point for most people though the rest of the house is artistic and unique. We are sure you will love our home :)
Situated on a rare private street In the heart of 'el gotico' where the artist 'Miro' was born, this rare 19th century apartment is full of individual pieces and it is the perfect place to spend your vacation in Barcelona. The balcony is charming and a great place to enjoy morning breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. There are 2 large double bedrooms a spacious kitchen; there is also bathroom and a lovely living/balcony area.
This 75m2 space is perfect for up to 6 people. There is a optional extra bed for up to 6 people that can be set up in the master bedroom or the living area. The early 19th century windows spanning the length of the entire flat are also very unique.
There is a free fast Internet access within the flat and the flat is in the middle of the city whilst being on a private street making it not so loud compared to the rest of this lively city, there are also 2 fans for the summer and 2 portable heaters for the winter :)
The gotic area is one of the oldest areas in Barcelona, the architecture is stunning and the restaurants and bars are of top quality, you can even walk to the beach in 10 mins. There are 2 local metro stations within 5 mins walk from the flat and to grab a taxi would take a matter of seconds making it easy to travel around. If you have any further questions we would be happy to help and also please ask us to send over our list of local tips for restaurants and bars etc.. it has been made with our years of knowledge of living in Barcelona for the last decade.
Thanks for reading and we are sure you will love our beautiful home.
Just enjoy yourself and respect the neighbors who live there full time :)
Lovely, very artistic flat located in a perfect area. Really comfortable beds, amazing balcony that's just opposite the house where Miró was born. Only three little perks: it does get noisy outside, the lock of the door sometimes takes a bit to work and the wifi didn't work at all. Apart from that, it really was like a dream flat to us. Thanks!
The flat is perfectly located in the Gothic part of city. Close to metro, the Rambla (100 meters) and 20 meters from a fine Bakery and just above a fine restaurant. Very charming neighborhood.
The flat is old - but clean. And cold in the night - but the two heaters made it nice and warm to stay in.
The wifi never worked - even though we contacted Ananda two times and she contacted the company.
The apartmant is nice and spacious, just as it is shown on pictures. I had an OK conversation before, some of my questions were not really answered, but got info enough and Ananda helped so we could drop off our bags before check in which was nice.
Nice restaurant in the ground floor too.
Unfortunately the internet connection was not working, neither for my IPhone or IPad, which was strange, and I did not got help onwards even I sent text to Ananda. Both device hooked up to internet on cafes, so I guess the set up in the apartment could have a problem - but I can be wrong! :)
As other guest had noticed, there is some noise from the street in the night and morning - but who comes to Barcelona to sleep? :)
La casa está en una ubicación muy buena para moverse por el centro de barcelona, es muy bonita y los anfitriones muy agradables.
The two bedroom apartment is a decent size and is in a fantastic location. Barcelona is very walk-able, but near the flat there are many great restaurants and attractions to enjoy. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.
Very welcoming hosts, waiting for me upon arrival and assisted with how to get there from the airport with information about a bus. Very friendly and carried my big bag too up the stairs. Very clean spacious apartment in great area. The hosts kindly provided me with a brilliant list of places to eat at and I really enjoyed my trip thanks to them and my special flat for the time.
We met up with Ananda on the first night there after more than an hour trying to find it - we were quite thrown off walking in the very confusing gothic district at night but she was at the apartment waiting to greet us at the balcony. She gave us a quick tour and the keys and was gone shortly after that. Ananda's list of places to check out was a blessing however, as her recommendations were all very solid. The listing was fairly accurately described but the furniture was not 100% as pictured; and the neighborhood, aside from lots of drunk Brits in town for the Eurocup, was wonderful. Be careful though as the gothic district is not for the easily frightened as it can be pretty scary at night - otherwise it is beautiful!
Happy you seem to be able to enjoy your stay in the amazing gothic are with its history, stone constructions and small cosy streets :) . Im not so sure about the comments you have left about the confusing gothic district? with all the incredible an irregular streets full of history and culture... Be careful? scary for easy frightened? I really must not agree with that, this area is super save and everyone knows that, i guess is a cultural shock that may happen if you come from an american new city. Just to state that gothic are it is not dangerous at all. Regards Ananda
