  • My experience at the home of Roberto was very nice. He is a gracious host and I was quite comfortable in my room. The neighborhood is safe and ecclectic - accessible to everything via the T - a 5 minute walk away - or by foot.

  • Very nice, clean, neat, cozy, close to public transit, breakfast, lovely garden and fountain in the back, and the host Roberto is very gracious, sweet, and interesting to talk to! Highly recommended and Boston is a great city!

  • This was my first experience with Airbnb. My host, Roberto, was gracious, accommodating, sharing, and providing a home for my time in Boston. Roberto provided a room, bathroom, and breakfast. I was free to come and go as needed. The location was an easy walk to the "T" which gave me access to all of Boston. Nearby was the Sam Adams Brewery and many local restaurants with great selection. The rate was reasonable which meant I could spend more for food and amenities. Looking forward to seeing Roberto and Friends in Mexico. Cheers Lyn

  • I stayed at Roberto's place during the Boston Marathon week. I met 2 other runners during my stay here. His house is easy to find from the train station. It's comfortable, clean and has everything I need. Roberto was very helpful in terms of directions and answered my questions. He's very nice and provided fruits, juice and cereal for breakfast. He even drove me to the train station the morning of my flight because it was raining.

I highlly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again for my future trip in Boston area.

  • Clean and well-ventilated, the room was perfect for my needs, especially after Roberto thoughtfully got me a working desk. The common living room and kitchen were spacious and wonderful for conversations with Roberto (who regaled me with stories of his youth escapades in Europe) and other guests. Conveniently located near the Green St. station along the Orange Line of the subway, Jamaica Plain where Roberto resides, offers a great neighborhood away from the bustle of Downtown Boston, with its Centre Street replete with multicultural cuisine from different countries. I'm already looking forward to a return visit!

  • Roberto is a kind host, and the cohousing community, his apartment, and the room I stayed in were all very pleasant and comfortable. It's conveniently located within a couple of minutes on foot to the Green Street T Station on the orange line which makes commuting into the rest of Boston very easy. It's also in a great neighborhood. I recommend this place for anyone visiting Boston.

  • Roberto is the best! Not only is the location the most ideal (one block from Green St. stop on the Orange Line), but he provided such a warm and hospitable environment to stay for a few days. He was also able to give a few recommendations (best if it's from a local, right?!) on what to do around the area and where to eat (very important for me). I definitely recommend staying at his place, if you're ever in town. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

  • I really enjoyed the stay with Roberto. He is a great host! The apartment is very nice in a pleasant residential area. The subway is just a few minutes away.

    August 2013
  • My experience with Roberto and his wife was exactly why Airbnb was created! They were thoughtful, full of great information, and so caring! I had chocolates waiting upon my arrival. Also, my flight ended up being very delayed (well after 2am), and Roberto was incredibly accommodating. If you're coming to Boston, you need to stay with Roberto - the cohousing unit in which his home is located is fascinating and has an incredible energy about it. You will not regret staying there!

We have lived at this the first condominium/JPCohousing in Boston, for nine years. My two grown up children are away doing what they always liked to do in NY and NH. We have a 1K square foot condominium and 10K square fee Common House space with a huge kitchen, living, laundry, children playroom and rumpus room, elevator, etc. We love this place and our sunny three bedroom unit. We have a great and diverse community here of committed individuals who make this place unique, safe and very pleasant to live. You can also visit the Cohousing page jpcohousing. Roberto Chao
