Room #2 has a queen size bed and a shared bath.
It is a cozy room in shades of blue, antique dresser and armoire, pedastal sink with mirror.
Charming and cozy 1884 Victorian Inn is located just 2 blocks from the historic Sonoma Plaza in down town Sonoma. There are 3 large bedrooms total.
The owner does not live on the premises.
There is a living room with fireplace, cable TV and Wireless Internet. No kitchen, but in dining area there is a microwave and a small refrigerator. Coffee and tea are provided. There is a restaurant next door and plenty of parking.
We are located in the middle of the wine country, near plenty of wineries and with 4 star restaurants just two blocks away in the plaza. The plaza (a National Historic Landmark) is surrounded by many historical buildings, including the Mission San Francisco Solano, and the Presidio of Sonoma. In the middle of the plaza, is Sonoma's city hall. The plaza is also the location of the Farmer's Market, held every Tuesday in the summer.

The Rose Garden Inn was beautiful. It has a GREAT location and was perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening at the restaurants in Sonoma's central square. The breakfast and spiced wine were lovely touches. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone looking to stay in Sonoma.
Marilyn's B&B is simply wonderful. Best location in town and a very cosy atmosphere in the house. The house also has a great little porch to watch the world go by and the breakfast was very tasty! If you want to stay in Sonoma this is the place!
Very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. great location. We had breakfast plans so didn't partake of the offerings but the fresh fruit and croissants looked lovely and coffee smelled great. We met Marilyn's son in passing, he was very polite and we felt very comfortable there
Our stay was great. The house was spotless and absolutely adorable. Very easy to locate and literally 2 blocks from the Sonoma Square. Breakfast served in the morning appeared magically on the tables in the common area before we woke up. There was a sink in the room so that was nice for brushing teeth etc since this room has a shared bathroom. Overall I would recommend this place over getting a hotel. It has a much more real Sonoma feel.
This was a pleasant stay. The room was quaint, clean and pretty cozy. I loved that it was only two blocks from the plaza, so my boyfriend and I were able to walk to the tasting rooms/restaurants and not have to worry about driving or taking a taxi.
Check in/out was super easy.
I don't have other air bnb places to compare to for this area, but I thought the price was fairly reasonable for this time of year. I loved that there was no minimum stay required. We were only coming up for one night and all the other places I checked (both air bnb and big hotels) required a 2-3 night stay. The one bummer was this unit did not have it's own bathroom but a shared one across the living and dining room. However, they do clearly indicate this on the profile page. It was not a big deal to us, and I think they have units with their own bathrooom so next time we stay (which we probably would) we'll request one of those units.
Marilyn's house was in a perfect location just a few blocks of the plaza. We only stayed for a day, but it was a wonderful stay with breakfast left out in the morning. Although we did not meet Marilyn the house was well kept up and things were clean. Would definitely recommend if someone was looking to stay in Sonoma.

My name is Marilyn . I am an elderly but "with it" lady with 4 grown children who live close by me. My interests have mostly to do with my rental "home" such as gardening and crocheting. In my relaxing times I enjoy reading. Tried to get interested in the compurter or internet but am not that "with it" A lot of the enjoying times are meeting all the guests that have stayed with me throughout the 20 years I have been taking care of the property. In the early days when my family and I first moved here, we owned the restaurant that is next door. We no longer own it but it is still a very good restaurant. Thats one of the great things to do in Sonoma, Try all the great restaurants. In the "Rose Garden Inn" you can walk to all the restaurants and not worry about the wonderful wine you drank and then driving home. Idon't live on the property but my son does, If I'm not able to be there to greet the guests then he is there. I enjoy the quietness of the house . You can't believe it is on the highway because there so little noise. I can sit on the porch and read and not be bothered by the traffic.
