About this listing
Bookings accepted, min 3 persons. Glorious flat in the very heartbeat of Barcelona with views of Placa Sant Jaume the very essence of the Gothic Quarter. Stunning design with a just a sip of Balinese touch and a completely equipped kitchen/bathroom.
We've just rented out a huge flat ( more than 200 m2) with 3 rooms in the very center of Barcelona, close to both beach and main city's hotspots. This is one of the very best locations in town, near to practically EVERYTHING, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter at 10 mins of walk to the beach and practically the most astonishing sightseeing locations (such as Plaça del Rei, the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral of Santa Eulàlia and Santa Maria del Mar) right under your balcony!
All rooms have brand-new furniture (take a look at the pics) triple-door wardrobes, king-size beds provided with fresh linen for each of you, access to a common kitchen with fridge and all needed accessories. WIFI connection & washing machine included. You have the yellow metro line (Jaume I) right next to the flat so you can easily plan your day also for cultural visits such as the Parc Gruell, the Sagrada Familia and so on.

Didn't meet Roberta in person but she was very responsive, accommodated for our late arrival and provided us with some great insider tips for bars, restaurants and beaches.
The apartment is great - in the centre of Barcelona, spacious with fantastic views, clean and nicely decorated. The only thing - it would be nice to have an Air Condition in one room at least, though Roberta has provided many fans.
As for the neighborhood - it's in the city centre, everything is at your doorstep.
Would recommend to stay here if you like to be in the central touristy area, but if you don't like to be surrounded with tourists, you should probably look to book a bit outside of the centre.
Great place in a great location, and Ana was flexible with our travel schedule. She also provided a list of a few nice places to eat, which we appreciated.
I would NOT recommend this location to anyone for the simple fact that the building is dilapidated. The door leading into the building is completely covered in graffiti while every other building on the street is nice and clean. There is a sewage smell in the entire building, and the ceilings are peeling inside of the apartment itself. There are only two good things: the proximity to town, and the fast communication with the host.
Roberta was very responsive. Anytime I had a question, she was quick to reply back. The neighborhood is great. It is right in the middle of the main area. Very close to the Ramblas area. It was easy to walk over to a lot of the main attractions. It is also very spacious. 3 bedrooms and none were small. It also had a nice dining area. It is on the 3rd floor, so a climb with large suitcases is not ideal. Checkin was not bad. We did not have a local phone, so we messaged Roberta through airbnb. Otherwise, she provides the phone number of someone who can let you in.
The listing originally had said it is air conditioned. Little did we realize that in Europe that can be interpreted as standing fans. We visited in July and during the day the temperatures would be in the high 80's to low 90's. Standing fans did not help much. At night time, you had the option to leave the windows open but still not ideal. In one of the bedrooms, it was difficult to leave the window open because it faces a main street and you had noise all night. We had to leave after the first night because we woke up covered in sweat even with the standing fans directed at us. With 2 kids,
The location is great and Roberta was a great host because of her communication. It was just not ideal for my family because of the heat.
What a magical mystical electrifying experience . Biggest unit in Europe space for families and more . Had a ball book it
Roberta's apartment is in a perfect location for taking in Barcelona's sights and nightlife. The apartment is beautifully designed, spacious and very well kept. Roberta made the experience very easy and relaxing for us, and we would recommend this location to anyone. Thanks for a great time!

About the Host, Roberta
My name is Roberta, I was born in Italy and raised, well, in several countries around the world due to my parents nomadic life-style. I moved to Barcelona at the end of March 2011. Not just for any reason, but for the love of my life. I know, I know, it sounds cliche, but hey, that’s how it happened.
In my “previous” life I worked as a Social Media Manager for a multinational based in the Caribbeans and currently I am giving sense to my position as a Marketing Executive in Spain. So actually, I have my Mediterranean life sorted out pretty well, but still, I missed what I love doing most: being in constant contact with internationally experienced people. And therefore, with help from my dearest boyfriend, I started opening our flats to the world and welcoming guests, trying to share with them this perpetual wonderland of ours, Barcelona.
It’s basically a never ending project, since I will continue introducing as a host all my guests to my world and guide them into this mysterious and playful reality that is my city. So yes, here it is.Through recent updates you will discover everything you can find, everything there is and you need to know. Only the highly necessary facts mixed together with personal experiences, tips and tricks.
So let me take you to my BCN…. and beyond!
Nos vemos muy pronto!
