We are happy to offer our 2nd story, 600 sqf barn studio with full bath and kitchenette tucked away on a 3 acre horse property with a large deck overlooking a pond. A true Country experience, yet just 2 mins from George Bush turnpike, 1 mile to DART Rail, 17 mins drive to downtown Dallas, Plano, Allen, 5 mins to Lake Ray Hubbard, Rockwall.
You must be OK with horses (on 3 sides of the barn) and free roaming chickens.

The space
The barn has everything you need to be comfortable plus an awesome outdoor deck overlooking the pond and the horses, a great place to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunrise or eat dinner in the shade. Kitchenette has a 2 burner hot plate, a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker. Outdoor gas grill available upon request. This is a second floor unit with 2 separate staircases to access. Horses stalls are located under the back deck. They love apples and carrots. Your pets are welcome as long as they are well behaved, kept on a leash and in no way a threat to the animals on the property.

This property is situated in a well established cul de sac neighborhood and we have been here for 25 years. Low traffic makes this a great place for your morning walk. Dog park available 1/2 mile away, downtown Rowlett a short walk away.

I have been living at this address for 25 years. I moved to Dallas TX 30+ years ago from France, and settle in Rowlett looking for a simpler life. Lots has changed since but I still enjoy my horses, just added chickens and working on improving the property. Jack and I are happy to share a small piece of our beautiful state.
