We had such a perfect two-night stay here! We were a bit nervous about the lack of cell service but it gave us a true retreat. The daybed swing was perfect for sunsets - great view from here. Nothing but a great time at this adorable spot. Thanks again!
The Treehouse is by far the most romantic place I have ever had the opportunity to stay. From the couch swing you can relax while gazing out past the beautiful forest to the Pacific Ocean or up at the stars. Waking up on a cloud in the king-size bed with a fluffy down blanket, the sun streams through big windows and glistens off the leaves of surrounding trees. The kitchen is well ornamented and the outdoor shower is refreshing. This place has the magic of a fairy tale, and my boyfriend and I treat our time there as the highlight of a week-long trip down the California coast.
We loved our stay here! Perfect location, easy access to some of the best restaurants in the area. Location was beautiful and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. Very private and serene. The kitchen is well equipped with the basics. The cabin is adorable and the bed was very comfy and cozy. We will definitely be back! Can't imagine a better stay in big sur.
The treehouse was perfect for our 4-day get-away. The comfy, private, warm, well-lit and designed space -- bigger than expected -- was perfect for reading, napping, and just soaking in the beauty all around; and since my knee sidelined us from hiking, we got a lot of reading done! We look forward to returning for more R&R -- Reading & Relaxation ;-)
If you haven't been to Big Sur, it is a must see and if you want to stay in a fairytale, beautiful setting, stay at Bliss in the Treetops. My daughter and I stayed for a couple nights making our way back home from college touring. It's was a perfect stop. We completely relaxed and my favorite thing about our accommodations, besides the comfortable king sized bed, was the outdoor lounging swing overlooking the Big Sur coastline.
I stayed here on my way back from the Bay area to Los Angeles to take a few quite days after a seminar. I am so glad I picked this beautiful cottage over a hotel room. For me it was homey without feeling that you are intruding someones home and super clean like a nice boutique hotel without feeling cold or sterile. Just gorgeous nature around it and quite yet close to some good restaurants. I'll go back there again for sure.
Bliss in the Treetops is exactly what it sounds like. We spent a week here and had a very hard time leaving. It is private, off the main road, has ocean views from the floating deck in back, and is surrounded by pine and oak trees. The living space itself is completely modern (save for the purposeful omission of wifi and television- a welcome respite) with a full kitchen, outdoor bath and shower, and huge California king bed. When you walk through the doors, coziness abounds. Wake up in the trees, eat breakfast from the outdoor deck with the ocean below, and spend your days getting lost in the vast wilderness of Big Sur. We would highly recommend Bliss in the Treetops for anybody looking for a serene, self contained experience. We hope to be back soon. Thank you Sue, for maintaining a beautiful piece of land.
