This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.

The space
There is a queen size bed and two chairs for sitting and relaxing. A small table with two chairs for playing cards or eating. A dresser for storing clothes with a mirror above it. Two night stands on each side of beds. Very spacious and easy to move around in. we have added some special features like a cooler and a little stove to heat up water and some dishes for your use and convenience and downstairs There is actually a grill and we provide charcoal with the utensils for your use and of course we also offer bath towels for you to use in our bath house. we hope you enjoy your stay and find that it’s peaceful and that you rest well.

Other things to note
We have added some extra features to our Treehouse recently there is a cooler for your use with ice sold in the store or bring your own. There is dishes also for your use all we ask is that you clean up and we’ve added some little snacks and coffee and a special little stove for you to use to heat up water we hope you enjoy your stay and rest well.

Its a very quiet place, everyone is very friendly and respectful to one another. Feels like everyone is family. We are about 1 mile from Historic Rugby and all it has to offer. You are close to hiking the Rugby Natural areas, Big South Fork and Sheltowee Trace. Also nearby is Picket State Park, Alvin York State Park, Frozen Head State Park, Obed Wild and Scenic River, The Cumberland Trail, Lone Mountain State Park, Brushy Mountain Prison, Brimstone and lots more.

I am the owner of the country store in front of the treehouse in Rugby, TN. I have lived in Rugby for the past 12 years and call this place home. I originally had the plan to just open my family's country store but since then it has expanded to a campground and now a new addition, the Treehouse. My hope is that you come here and are able to experience a memory you will never forget and to share with you our little piece of heaven.
