The Space

This old - stone builded - farmhouse has been respectfully renovated few years ago. It is located on a 2 hectars property, 30 Km south from Essaouira, in the heart of the Berber country, surrounded by argan and olive trees.
Working with families of the area, we cultivate and process our products (Argan fruits and olives) using local techniques.
Visit us and enjoy a healthy way of life that can only be found in rural Morocco.
During their stay, guests can enjoy privacy, a tranquil setting, traditional rustic meals and also easy walking treks through the surrounding area, donkey trails and other farm activities. Breathtaking sand beaches and the lovely beachside town of Essaouira are 20 minutes away.
Accompained excursions (email hidden) experience are available on request, introducing guests to some of the most typical areas and authentic Berber dishes.
The farm offers 3 comfortable rooms , for a total of 6 -7 places, a lovely white courtyard and several relax spots where to chill out, a terrace with pergola and a small pool.
Breakfast and other meals preparation can be arranged on demand.
Hot water, fireplaces, furnished kitchen, safecase and a mini-dvd player are available. Daily maid service and gardianing are included in the price. Transportation can be arranged with us, or we can suggest trusted drivers and good car rentals.
For a detailed offer please do contact us.

Guest Access

The house rental is in exclusive, guest have access to the entire property and to the pool. Gardian and workers are present on the property (discrete presence though!) for work, garden and animals keeping

Interaction with Guests

Lucrezia is always available by phone and by email, but might not be present at the farm at your arrival. Check-in and check-out will be then assured by a friend French and English Speaking. A lovely Berber family takes care of the place with lots of respect for the property and the guests.

The Neighborhood

The calm, the feeling of being apart from the stressful modern life, the nice walks, the colorful Berber people, the light at sunset, the starry nights, the silence and sounds of the country, the beauty of the surrounding area.

Getting around

By car, or by taxi. Public bus from Essaouira arrives to the village of Tidzi, located on the main road Essaouira-Agadir and 2 km and 1/2 Km away from the farm. From Tidzi, collective taxis are available random.

Other Things to Note

Summer is dry and very hot, more similar to Marrakech weather.
1 private clinic available in Essaouira (30 Km), but better to address to private clinics in Marrakech (180 Km).

  • We had such a wonderful time at Lalla Abouch! We missed meeting Lucrezia, but were kindly greeted by her neighbor, Louis, who oriented us upon our arrival. Hafida and Ahmed, the care-takers of the property, couldn't have been more lovely. With Ahmed's introduction, we made fast friends with the goat - Jamal, and the donkeys, kitties and pup! We also got a lovely tour of the hen house and peacock's nest from Ahmed and were thoroughly spoiled by Hafida's smile and her cooking!! Such a wonderful haven in the midst of the Argan trees, near the beach and away from the hustle of Marrakesch, but a stone's throw from the picturesque and more mellow Essaouira, one of our favorite cities in Morocco. We rode horses on a nearby beach which was a great trip for an afternoon, but we didn't want to be away for too long from home, with the wonderful pool, Hafida's dinner meal, and a spectacular sunset awaiting!

  • We had spent the most wonderful time our lives at Lucrezia's Lalla Abouch farm. It is just paradise on earth, everything designed and prepared with so much love and designation. The kids ( 4 and 5) loved the animals which were all so much fun and interesting and our lovely stuff Hafida and Ahmed. Both kind and attentive made the best of our stay. Lucrezia herself did everything she could to make us truly feel at home (if we had only a home like this - the kids wanted to move in immediately :-) ). We definetely recommend this place to everybody who is fed up with noisy big city life and looks for a completely wonderful retreat.
We are so much looking for to come back! Thank you so much!

  • What a lovely, restful, gorgeous place to spend a few days unwinding! Lucrezia's place is super well appointed, gorgeously decorated with lots of great places for lounging, reading, napping, taking in the sun...a wonderful kitchen, equipped with homeade yogurt, cheese, everything you need to cook/ beautiful dishes. The land surrounding the house is a lovely little farm--rabbits, peacocks, horses...even a very friendly and affectionate blind goat. Rustic, but with very comfortable bedding, nice towels--luxury touches! Highly recommended for families, couples, friends wanting some time together, away from the hustle and bustle...

  • We had such a lovely holiday here in Lalla Abouch. The setting is perfect if you want to switch off and chill out in the sun in the middle of nowhere.

We had a really lovely stay and Hafida and her family are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts and evening meals were the best we had on our entire trip in Morocco. Hafida is a gifted cook.

Lucrezia and Claudia were really helpful throughout and the trip was great for recharging the batteries. My partner was ill on coming to Morocco and they helped find us some antibiotics and couldn't have done more to ensure our comfort. We'll definitely be back in the New Year.

    Vollste Empfehlung!

  • We have had a wonderful stay there. Settings are beautiful, the house is very comfortable, ideal with kids, not far from essaouira nor the beaches, yet protected from the wind.... but more over the way everyone in lucrezia.s team and friends cared and looked after us, in a very discrete yet very careful way really made our stay very special.

Special mention to Hafida and her family, her wonderful breakfasts, their smiles and so friendly welcome.
Special mention also to Ibrahim who came from Marrakech to welcome us and introduce us to the area and looked so wonderfuly after us in Marrakech on our way back.
Do not miss Claudia and Jawad at Equievasion for a wonderful horse riding and bivouac night (do not hesitate whatever your level : my last riding experience dated back some... 30 years ago and the four of us enjoyed very minutes of it).

We enjoyed spending time at night at the farm also, enjoying hafida's tajines over the moon and starred sky... Amazing night sky by the way....

Many things to do and recomendation available at the house. Everything we tried was just excellent.... And we ll be back, that is for sure, to enjoy the rest.... Thank you Lucrezia and hope we ll be able to meet in person next time.

  • Very comfortable country house set in the beautiful countryside near Essaouira. We had a wonderful time exploring the surroundings and were spoiled by Hafida's cooking.
Our two small children loved to explore the big garden with the animals / flowers and swimming pool. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

  • This place is quite frankly wonderful. Set in rolling countryside the farm is a beautifully decorated gem located amongst wheat fields, Argan trees, and when we went in April, meadows of poppies and daisies. You feel stress melting away on arrival. There are several spaces where you can relax with a book and enjoy the tranquility and gorgeous scenery. We went with a small child so it wasn't that easy to relax but instead we made good use of the small pool and many trips to visit the numerous animals around the farm - donkeys, goats, mule, rabbits, chickets, ducks, peacocks - our little one had the time of her life! Hafeda's food was an integral part of the experience - she puts so much into it, it is all fresh, wholesome and prepared with real care and it may be hard to find better food elsewhere! We can particularly recommend the donky ride and picnic that Lucrezia recommended for us. This place is special - we will be back!!

  • Had a great 4 days at Lucrezia's beautiful farm. The location is stunning, and the homecooked meals were fantastic. Would come back any time, can't rate this highly enough.
