We really enjoyed our stay with Lia and Jo. We were made to feel welcome on arrival, even though we arrived late at night due to our flight being (website hidden) took the time to explain things to us (wifi, breakfast, etc) and happily provided me with directions to all the places I requested. It was really easy to get to the accommodation from Shepherd's Bush Market tube station, a 5 minute walk even with our luggage. We would stay with Lia and Jo again.
Lia and her husband were great hosts. They always were open for all the questions we had and gave us special tipps and advices. Thanks so much! The room was very clean and quiet. In about two minutes you can reach the bus or in 5 - 10 Min. the tube. Absolutely perfect for visiting London.
Furthermore they were friendly, always polite, quiet - just like their 3 kids!
So we can recommend them in any event! :-)
We were made very welcome. It's a lovely sunny room, with bathroom next door. Great shower. Nice to have breakfast included. Perfect location in a quiet road but very near shops and tube. Would like to use Lia's house again.
Lia was incredibly accommodating since I was arriving earlier than the set check-in time. Her directions to the home were helpful and accurate. Upon arrival she asked how she could help me settle in, showed me all the necessary features (keys, information on the area, wifi passcode, etc.), and seemed generally interested in my stay. Each morning she set out a nice breakfast outside my door with a croissant, muesli, milk, and oj. Always available in my room was coffee and tea with an electric water heater. The room was small, but very comfortable. There was plenty of lighting, a table and chairs, and helpful places to put items and hang clothes. The bathroom was very clean with a great shower. The neighborhood is surprising at first because it is incredibly diverse, but I never felt unsafe walking around. There are some great pubs and restaurants nearby and the tube station is a five minute walk. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends. Thank you so much Lia for being such a great host!
Lia and Jo were very warm and kind! A lovely couple and a lovely family! We couldn't have a better experience in London. Me and my boyfriend just loved! The room was clean and cozy, just the same as the pictures. Having a bathroom just for us was a big plus. The breakfast was simple but tasty. In the mornings we could hear the birds singing in the backyard and we also saw some squirrels! Almost unbelievable since we were in a very busy neighborhood. The Shepherd's bush Market metro station is very close, just minutes walking. It is very easy to reach the main attractions. And even though its a little bit far (more or less 45 min by metro to reach Piccadilly circus, for example), it was very interesting experience being in a non-touristy neighborhood. We felt like we got to know much better the real London. We definitely recommend the experience!
Lia and Jo, hope to see you again!
Lia was a great host! Room was well presented, clean and tidy. Her recommendations of what to do in the area were helpful also.
The location of the house made it very easy to get into town :)

I am a west London primary school teacher originally from Cork. I live with my husband Joaquim and our three children aged 6,5 and 2.
We have been hosting since April 2012 and have thus far enjoyed the AirBnB experience, meeting people from all cultures.
Both Joaquim and I speak Italian as we both met there and lived in Tuscany for some years. We enjoy the simple pleasures in life mainly cooking, and good company.
We feel that we could offer fun lively but very warm family environment for your stay. If needed we would be happy to provide personal recommendations of the local area or wider London sights.
