I had a wonderful stay, the place has such a great homey feel and I felt so welcomed by Lia and her family. The room is lovely, very peaceful, and having a bathroom to myself was amazing. It was a nice little area at the top of the house all to myself. I was looking for long term accommodation around London while staying with Lia, and she was wonderful in touching base with me and providing as much advice as she could which proved incredible useful. Even when I had trouble trying to find accommodation after my stay was up, Lia was so helpful and willing to ensure I had somewhere to go, which certainly calmed my nerves. I would definitely recommend this room and would look to stay there again should the occasion ever arise in the future :)
We had a wonderful stay at Lia's house. The bedroom en bathroom are nice and clean and the breakfast and especially the coffee were great.
It's just a few steps away from the bus and tube stations to bring you anywhere you want.
Really would stay there again!
Lia and Jo were very friendly and accommodating. They answered any questions I had and they respected my privacy as well. This is a lovely home in a great, practical location just as described. The bed was very comfortable and the house/bedroom location allows for quietness, no street noise at all. This was my first time in London and it was very easy to get to the house from Heathrow via the tube. The neighborhood is diverse which exposed me to very tasty restaurants. As a woman traveling by myself I always felt safe in the neighborhood even when walking at night. This was my first airbnb experience and I'm happy to say it was great. Thank you Lia and family.
We really enjoyed our stay with Lia and Jo. We were made to feel welcome on arrival, even though we arrived late at night due to our flight being (website hidden) took the time to explain things to us (wifi, breakfast, etc) and happily provided me with directions to all the places I requested. It was really easy to get to the accommodation from Shepherd's Bush Market tube station, a 5 minute walk even with our luggage. We would stay with Lia and Jo again.

About the Host, Lia
I am a west London primary school teacher originally from Cork. I live with my husband Joaquim and our three children aged 6,5 and 2.
We have been hosting since April 2012 and have thus far enjoyed the AirBnB experience, meeting people from all cultures.
Both Joaquim and I speak Italian as we both met there and lived in Tuscany for some years. We enjoy the simple pleasures in life mainly cooking, and good company.
We feel that we could offer fun lively but very warm family environment for your stay. If needed we would be happy to provide personal recommendations of the local area or wider London sights.
