  • Great Location, very central and clean.
Even though my family did not meet George in person, he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Melbourne. Especially for the Australian Open it was perfect as one can walk there.

  • Excellent apartment. Very spacious, lovely decor. Extremely central.
The owner welcomed us to use his records and was very attentive on e-mail. He left us great shower gels, soaps etc for us to use which was a nice surprise. Very pleasant space and super comfortable beds. Clean towels and sheets were left aplenty.

It was a great way to experience the city and lots of tips of restaurants and grocery stores were also provided. Very happy with it all. Comfortable.

The only tiny downsides might have been a clothes drier that didn't work properly (but we weren't expecting it anyway) and there was no DVD player with the TV but that's a personal preference. And on the first night there was a bit of noise from the restaurants next to the bedroom windows till late. But not after that.

    I recommend it!!!

  • Our stay at George's apartment was perfect. The place is indeed very spacious and elegant. I particularly loved the birds singing in the courtyard. Also very central. We walked everywhere even though public transport is abundantly available. I highly recommend this place.

  • George's place was terrific - centrally located, light bright and airy, and easy to access trams, trains and everything we wanted to see and do. George was a delightful host going out if his way to make our stay fantastic. Thanks George for making our trip to Melbourne perfect. We will definitely be back!

  • George is a lovely host and the apartment is very spacious and comfortable in a great part of town. Great to have some stillness but still be so close to the hustle bustle of town and some iconic Melbourne restaurants and cafes.

The courtyard is also a rare treat and the kitchen is well stocked, great for if you want to stay in and cook.

Will definitely be staying here again!

  • This apartment is amazing. I'm pretty sure it's bigger than my house! The location is brilliant, the building is lovely - there's a beautiful view over the courtyard on one side, and a cool laneway/rooftops view on the other. Was great to have access to a washer and dryer too. Such a chilled-out vibe here. I really hope to stay again!

  • A memorable holiday made even more special due to George's wonderful appartment. Relaxed and at ease from the moment we walked in the door to the sound of birds singing from the courtyard. Cosy and roomy the perfect escape from the busy city after enjoying all Melbourne has to offer.
A home away from home. I'd recommend George's hospitality and appartment to anyone.

About
Hi there! I am looking forward to welcoming you to the amazing city of Melbourne! I am at the ripe age of 32 and have been living and working in Melbourne for about 9 years as a web developer / design. My key work and personal interests revolve around digital media and the web, with a keen interest in social enterprise and the power of the web to spread the love of communication to those in need. :) I am super keen on music, design, arts, meditation, a touch of political banter and eating and drinking... etc. I am a fond traveller and have travelled extensively around Australia and parts of Asia, Africa and Europe. Since moving to Melbourne in 2003 I have always felt it is one of the greatest cities to live and have gravitated back after some time spent away. I was brought up in Darwin, NT living there for 13 years and then spending the next 7 years living in Brisbane. I also headed West and lived in Fremantle, WA for a little time. Undoubtedly the restaurant / bar / art and cultural aspects are amongst the finest reasons for being in Melbourne. I am generally more than happy to help guide / advise on the surrounds of Melbs, and potentially join for a wine - although I am often very busy with work and / or socialising. I currently work 50/50 from home/work. Cheers / George.
