The space
Renovated chapel and small holding situated down an idyllic, rural gravel lane but around 2 miles from Telford town centre, Ironbridge, local hospitals, business parks, the IC (Telford International Centre), Lilleshall sports Centre and the M54 and M6. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door.

We offer this listing at a discounted rate so guests booking this listing will be accommodated in one of three rooms, allocated on arrival. All our three rooms have received excellent Airbnb reviews. If you have any queries on this please ask.

For an additional £3.50 per person a breakfast package can be provided in your room should a guest request this before arrival. Late evening arrivals can book a hearty home cooked evening meal for an extra £10 to ensure a warm and restful welcome.

Checks ins and meal service will now be fully adhering to social distancing guidelines.

We can add beds to this double room for family groups, depending on which room is available. Pairs of guests wanting to add extra beds to a double room may add one for a charge of £6 to cover the additional laundry and room prep, and the use of a bed from another room. Larger groups bookings are ideal for large families. We would of course ask groups of adults to book a second room as we want all our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to accommodate four or more adults into one bedroom. We usually have other rooms available and it is a nominal amount to add one to this booking.

The rooms have beautiful woodland views and private bathroom.

Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles.

The property location ensures peace and quiet with no passing traffic.

Free Wi-Fi is available as is a paid laundry service.

Our dog never goes upstairs.

Guest access
Our guests will have their own large room, with plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Two of our three rooms have simple self catering facilities and one is ensuite. Please contact me directly if you wish to upgrade to secure a specific room for your stay as this listing is allocation on arrival.

Checks ins and meal service will now be fully adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Jungle bathroom with electric shower, bath, WC and basin (if allocated room is non-ensuite). The host family will not use this bathroom when we have guests booked in.

Evening meals can be ordered for £10 per person and simple toast and cereals breakfasts are £3.50. Please order in advance. These will be provided to your room for your comfort and convenience.

Guests will be provided with a parking space if required throughout their stay. This will be either on our land or safely nearby.

Other things to note
Chapel House is a big old house down a picturesque non maintained gravel lane, which can get muddy in wet weather. In cold weather it will not be as warm as a new build; there's no sitting around in T-shirts when its cold outside! Our home has buckets of character and history in a delightful location, and is a very happy home, and what we offer reflects that.

We have a very friendly dog and two pet pigs, a pot bellied and a kune kune. Our dog stays downstairs only and guests need not meet him if they are not happy around dogs.

Hi! Ty and I are a medical researcher and teacher enjoying the best of Shropshire life in a beautiful part of the county. We live with our children and pets; our dog Billy, Lola the pot bellied pig and Albert the kune kune pig - I'm working on chickens! We enjoy dog walking, live comedy and love nights out with friends. We also love having people to stay and our house is often the venue for parties and BBQs. We have a huge home and love having a houseful of guests, which is why we thought AirBnB would be a good way to go. We've done loads of travelling in the past, in the form of backpacking and volunteer work, and have been and lived pretty much all over the world so enjoy meeting people from near and far. We're very hospitable and want you to feel at ease in our home, and enjoy a comfortable, well equipped, professional stay. We aren't a hotel - don't expect that, but we are warm and welcoming with a quirky home and love meeting people from around the world... as well as our super staple business travellers who arrive shattered and need a safe place with a decent room, hot shower, brew and bed. We salute you harried business folks. So to all our future guests, give us a smile and there'll be a very warm welcome and lovely room with your name on it. Hope to meet you soon.
