Two flats are available. Each flat can be booked individually, or together.
Each floor is identical and has a Double Bedroom, en-suite bathroom with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, and self-contained fully equipped kitchen. Bedding and clean towels provided and refreshed each 7 days for longer stays.
Facilities include clock/radio/alarm, TV (free to air, not pay tv), DVD, and broadband internet. The kitchen has an electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, 4 piece place settings of cups, plates, glasses, knives, forks, spoons, etc, and sufficient cooking implements to make substantial meals, pots, pans, mixing bowls, vegetable peeler, juicers, toaster, and kettle.
Each floor has an initial complimentary supply of tea, coffee, milk and sugar, and for the cost of the supermarket till receipt, we will fill your fridge and larder with anything you might specify in advance by email, so it is there on your arrival
Judith and Steve are a professional couple who live in the bottom 2 floors of a magnificent 4 storey 1850s terrace house. A complete renovation has occurred with new plumbing, electrics and heating. On each of the top two floors, is a self-contained bedroom / sitting room / dining room, providing separate accommodation for up to 2 couples, each with its own bathroom and kitchen.
The rooms are bright and airy, with window views front and rear. You need to be able to walk up 7 steps from the street, enter through the front door with your own key, along the hallway, up 10 steps to the landing, and then 8 steps to the front door of the first flat. If going to the top floor, it is another 9 steps to the 2nd floor landing and 7 steps to the front door of the second flat.
Parking is available in the street but ask for a visitors parking permit !
Local shops, supermarket and cinema, are among a host of other attractions in trendy Dalston.
Guests are to enter the property and use the hallway to access their flat. They are not entitled to use other parts of the house unless invited. No noise - tv, music, conversation, etc, should be able to be heard outside the flat after 10pm, or before 7am, or 8am on Sundays. Strictly no smoking.
The listing was very accurate, and the flat was comfortable and had all of the necessities. It's in a charming part of Dalston, and we found it centrally located for our needs. We ate at Mangal, which serves delicious Turkish food. We were able to go for runs in the morning in a nearby park, and catch the overground or bus into the City. Although Steve was out of town, Herm was a very helpful hostess. She even went out of her way to look up information about transportation to the airport. We would definitely recommend staying in this flat!
We had a great time here. The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Steve was very helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Turkish restaurant he recommended. We would happily stay here again. Thanks for a great airbnb experience!

A perfect host and a perfect flat. Steve was welcoming and helpful, while also ensuring we had complete privacy to come and go as we pleased. The flat far outshone the photos- it is bright, spacious and immaculately clean. It is better equipped than our own home. The street is quiet, despite being a few minutes walk from a busy high street.
We really enjoyed the attention to detail throughout, which even included some beautiful planting in the front garden. Steve was so kind in helping me navigate London''s transport system and furthermore compensated us generously (ridiculously generously) following a brief problem with the hot water one afternoon.
This is my first experience with Airbnb and Steve has set the bar very high! I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Steve was a great guy and an excellent host. Very knowledgeable about getting around the area (and provided helpful materials). The flat is very close to an Overground station as well as several solid bus lines to get to other parts of the city. Inside, everything was very clean with a lot of space. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting London.
Steve is a very nice host and very patience. He provided us lots of useful travel (email hidden)e flat is very clean and comfortable like staying at home. The location is good to go to central London within 30 minutes and convenient to link to underground, overground and national rail train. There are two big supermarkets just 3 minutes walk from the flat. Highly recommend Steve's flat if planing to stay in London. Finally,thanks Steve's big surprise for our honeymoon:), very nice experience:)
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment! The place is clean and has everything you'd wish for. It's been renovated not too long ago so everything is brand new. Connection with the city is really easy, bus or tube takes you right into town. Close to the apartment is a nice market which is open daily, except for Sundays. Further on the neighborhood is really quite, which is nice after a buzzing day downtown. We were welcomed very lovely by Steve's wife Judith, communication with Steve over the internet was quick and clear as well. Highly recommended! We might return some day!
