Amazing. Lorraine is to die for. We arrived and asked a couple a couple of questions about local shopping, and faster than you can say "sorted" we were in Lorraine's car for a tour of the local area. We had our own bathroom and kitchenette (good for Italians who like to do their own pasta!) Getting to hammersmith on the bus was easy . It was simply a lovely place to stay and Lorraine was the perfect host.
On the evening we left ... oh we are not going to tell. Then it will be a lovely surprise for you too!
Lorraine's house it si very nice and confortable like the pictures abd the description. The position is very near to the bus stop.
Lorraine is very friendly!
Lorraine's twin room offers numerous, exclusive advantages not only in terms of space/ammenities provided, but also due to its exceptional location within the metropolis.
Namely, guests residing in the twin room are entitled to exclusive use of a fully equiped kitchenette and (email hidden)is ,along with the room's position on the first floor of the house, reassures maximum privacy in the case it is needed.
What is more, the house boasts a prestigious adress in Barnes (within LB of Richmond upon Thames which is, by the way,the safest AND wealthiest borough within London),excellent transportation links 24/7 (Knightsbridge may be reached within 15 or 20 minutes using public transport) ,as well as quiet and serene surroundings.
Finally,Lorraine has been a most friendly and reliable hostess, swift in resolving any issue that might arise.
I would definitely consider Lorraine's listing as my accomodation option for future trips to London.
Lorraine's room was an ideal base for our visit to London. It is in a very pleasant suburb and has excellent transport links via bus and tube. Lorraine was a friendly and welcoming hostess and the room etc was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this as a place to stay.
I stayed there for a week, my first time overseas, and Lorraine was a huge help in familiarizing me with the London area. Lorraine is very cordial and made sure we felt at home. The location is great- the bus stop is down the street with easy access to the Underground. The beds were comfy too! Would definitely book again if I get a chance to go back.
Lorraine very kindly responded to my last minute request for accommodation for 3 nights. There was another guest who was also a late arrival. We shared a bottle of wine and chatted till late in the evening. Lorraine was very helpful in her local knowledge and was good fun to spend time with
This is what I love about B & B's
Lorraine is a friendly, talkative lady. It was nice staying at her place, I would definitely come back!
Very nice and cozy house, which lies in a quiet district in Hammersmith. Lorraine is a very helpful guide when finding places in London. The twin bedroom is excellent and quite large.
Lorraine was most accommodating when my friend Judy and I arrived mid-morning on the check-in day. We left our bags in our clean and comfortable room and proceeded to the convenience store a block away and bought our "Oyster Card" for use on bus and tube. The bus stops a few steps from Lorraine's home and travels to the Hammersmith Station from which it is easy to catch a bus or take the tube to downtown London. Hammersmith Station also had direct tube route to Heathrow Airport. I didn't know this, but June is the month of roses and Lorraine had lovely comforters with roses on them as well as a vase of fresh roses in the room. The bedroom and bathroom (upstairs) in the house were clean and comfortable. Lorraine provided an information sheet in the room and was helpful answering any questions we had. We had delightful conversations at the end of our days. I definitely recommend Lorraine's as a convenient location and comfortable home away from home.
