About This Listing
Perfect for a couple or single traveler, this spacious room offers a comfortable, queen sized bed and shares a full bath, if there are other guests. There is another bathroom on the main level of the house.
This spacious home offers plenty of living space for relaxing and socializing. A large great room provides ample space for board games and watching movies, featuring Netflix and Pandora while a separate parlor offers an intimate, quiet space for reading.
The yard features a nice, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. If you have never showered outdoors, this is the time to try it, and you’ll be happy you did!
You will find fresh fruit, assorted breakfast offerings, juice and coffee each morning.
The house is situated on a large, secluded lot just a 5 minute drive from Town Neck Beach and less than 10 minute drive to the beautiful East Sandwich and Sandy Neck beaches. Although we are very close to downtown Sandwich and it's beaches, unfortunately there are not sidewalks on the roads from my house and therefore it is difficult to get around without a car. Sandwich is 60 miles (1 hour without traffic) from Boston and 1 hour from Providence, RI.
As a guest in my home you have use of my beach chairs and beach gear. For bicyclists, the area boasts two spectacular bike paths. The Cape Cod Rail Trail starts in Hyannis while the Shining Sea Bike Path starts in nearby Falmouth. Bike rentals are available right at the trails.
Conveniently located just over the Sagamore Bridge and right off Route 6 which connect to the entire Cape. Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and is home to the Sandwich Glass Museum, the historic Hoxie House, the Grist Mill, and Heritage Gardens. Downtown Sandwich is also home to charming antique shops and restaurants.
I would love to have you as a guest in my home, where I also reside in a separate area, and am happy to offer advice and suggestions, or plan a fun evening beachfront campfire. Feel free to send me any questions you may have through the airBnB message thread.
Registered Air BnB guests only on property.
Sorry, no pets.

The perfect Cape Cod experience! My wife and I had a wedding to go to in East Dennis, and Christine's house was in a perfect location just over the bridge and right off the main highway. The house is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and Christine is even more charming and accommodating than we could have hoped for. You really feel right at home here.
After we arrived, we had a glass of wine right out of her fridge and went out on her deck to sit and watch the birds and wild turkeys, then we used her exquisite outdoor shower just because. The full size bed was just right for the two of us, but taller guests looking for a larger bed can look into one of her three other rooms in the house. Internet speed was a solid 10/6 in our room; didn't test elsewhere but could be even faster in other rooms with better reception.
Morning breakfast of quiche, yogurt, fresh fruit and asparagus(!) with good coffee and juice was outstanding, and conversation was lively and interesting with stories of her past guests from all over the world. She'll even tell you the best spots if you want to see some whales!
We will have to come stay here again next time we visit the Cape!
Christine was easy to contact and made us feel at home at once.
She showed us around, offered something to drink and had several ideas where to go for dinner and where not.
Her beautiful home is easy to find , close to the highway but absolutely silent.
You only hear the birds there.
The room and bathroom were as cosy as could be seen and clean .There is even a fantastic outdoor shower we could use.
Sandwich is the ideal spot to explore cape cod and Boston as well.
Our stay with Christine was short but sweet. Her home was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood right off the highway. Christine was a generous and welcoming host and my gf and I enjoyed chatting with her and her sisters over a scrumptious homemade breakfast (banana pancakes! fresh fruit! tea! coffee!). Although we only had the pleasure of staying with Christine for one night, she offered some great suggestions for a morning walk on the beach - a short drive away.
The room we stayed in was a calming blue with a comfortable bed, warm blankets, and beautiful morning light.
The outdoor shower was an invigorating yet peaceful experience.
Overall it was a great stay with a very welcoming host. We would definitely stay again!
Christine was an amazing host, cooking delicious breakfast for us, doing everything to make our trip wonderful, giving us some valuable tips about the Cape. The house is awesome with a beautiful deck above the forest and its wild turkeys (!). You'll need a car to fully appreciate the Cape but go for it, you'll have a great time at Christine's place.
We had a great stay in Cape Cod and Christine and the accommodation was a part of the success.
The room was as advertised and spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and Christine made herself available. Beach towels and beach toys (for our son) we a lovely touch. The remainder of the house was well equipped and very comfortable. Christine was swift and responsive to all communications before and during the stay.
The location was good being midway between Boston and Provincetown.
We would recommend staying with Christine with others and would stay in her accommodation again.
We would recomme
Christine was a great host for our short trip to the Cape, with the added bonus of a delicious breakfast the next morning! The room was exactly as pictured, and we couldn't have asked for much else. Definitely check this out for your next Cape Cod vacation, it will feel like you are staying at a friend's home.
Great communication ahead of stay.
Beautiful room, amazing breakfast and conversation the next morning.
Excellent location at west end of the Cape.

About the Host, Christine
I have been in the hospitality industry my entire adult life. Hosting with AirBnB has become natural for me, and I totally enjoy meeting all the folks that visit the Cape from ALL OVER the world! I love to cook for my family and friends but I also enjoy the many nearby restaurants. I am a strong believer in supporting local small business. I love to shop for antiques, a hobby I inherited from my Mother. I enjoy going to the movies especially now that we have a new theatre with really comfortable seating just 5 minutes away! Recently we have had guests stay at our home from as far away as Japan and Australia. I love showing them all that the Cape has to offer.
Just minutes away this lovely place is perfect for a nice long walk thru lush gardens. There is even a carousel for the kiddos!

This bike path is 22 miles of flat, paved surface with few hills that goes all the way to Wellfleet. There are places to get off the trail and stop at the beach. Great for rollerblading.
