The space
Fillmore's Landing is our second cabin in the beautiful Cascade Mountains. Located in Ashford, WA and just 4 miles from the main gate to Mt. Rainier National Park. Just a short two hour drive from Seattle, Ashford is an easy commute and your gateway to all the beauty and adventure the Cascades has to offer.

Originally built in 1968, we recently completed a full update of the property to include adding a beautiful cedar soaking hot tub, personal touches, and all the modern amenities you would want in the 21st century. At 800 square feet, the updates were designed to maximize every inch of the home.

Upstairs find two built in queen beds with storage drawers underneath as well as a fold down couch to allow for sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests. Opposite end from the sleeping quarters, find a completely updated bathroom including a brand new sink, toilet, and shower/tub combination. Towels and basic bathroom amenities are provided. **only bathroom is on the second floor**

Our kitchen is fully prepared and ready for you to cook amazing meals. A 30 inch range, pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot, french press, pour over coffee pot (coffee provided), mini waffle maker, toaster, and more are all provided to ensure you are ready to cook a delicious and healthy (or not so healthy) meal.

In the living room find puzzles, games, and an entertainment set (Amazon Firestick) with Netflix, Prime Video and more. In the reading nook, find books, and a collection of records to enjoy on the record player! Under the TV, find a bluetooth speaker to enjoy your own music around the cabin! The living room is also large enough for a full/queen air mattress which we provide upstairs.

Head out back to enjoy the deck and listen to the sounds of a babbling creak just 50 yards off the back. Enjoy a fire with friends and family and of course pop the lid on our cedar soaking hot tub and let all of your stress melt away. Please keep fires small and within the rock barriers and abide by all fire restrictions in the summer. We do not provide firewood during the summer months. Please read all hot tub instructions at the cabin before use.

The HOA has a wonderful swimming lake just a mile from the cabin. To use it, please find the guest pass in the back of the book and hang it in your car while you are parked at the swimming lake. Please remember to put it back in the cabin! Failure to do so will result in a $40 charge to replace it.

We are dog friendly for a $45 fee. You must tell us if you are bringing your dog. If you are bringing a dog they are not allowed on furniture unless you use the provided pet blankets. Failure to do so or any other pet issues found will result in an additional $75 charge for extra cleaning.

The home is heated with baseboard heat controlled by the thermostat behind the TV. Please turn the thermostat back to 50 degrees when you depart. Additionally, there is a wall heater behind the door of the upstairs bathroom and two space heaters to extra heat. If you’d like to build a fire remember to bring some cardboard or paper products to help get it started! We have plenty of wood for you and a hatchet to split down for kindling. Please turn down when you depart as well. For the summer, fans are provided and we recommend keeping the windows open while you are out exploring!

We are on community water and a septic system. Only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed. Fixing a septic clog is a minimum of $350 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference for any septic backup.

By booking with us you waive all liability for personal injury and property loss. Do not use alcohol in excess and please exercise caution while at the cabin. Injuries are no fun for anyone and we want you to do nothing but enjoy your stay! There are absolutely no parties allowed and guests who break the house rules will lose their deposit, be evicted, and be immediately charged for any damages to the home. Simply treat the cabin with respect and you’ll have a wonderful stay.

2 night minimum stay on holiday weekends and during the summer months.

We do not offer refunds for last minute cancellations due to weather.

Check out for more on our story and to pick up your Millard's Cabins stickers! There is no better way to remember how awesome your trip to the mountains was than slapping a sticker on your cooler or water bottle. We also offer gift cards for future stays!
