Blandford Forum, England, United Kingdom

We are close to many pretty North Dorset Villages. Some easy walking or cycling distance. The Dorset Steam Fair is a wonderful family event to visit in August (we can supply a two man tent if needed)

During your stay
We will usually be around to help and advise you on where to visit, walk or cycle if you'd like to. It is very quiet here and the wildlife is very special. We see Egrets, Owls and Herons as well as smaller birds. The Lodge is ideal for writing, reading, walking, cycling, visiting historic hill forts and is near to Poole and the sea. You can bring a tent for children if you'd like to.
