I had an amazing time staying at Tanya's home. The apartment was lovely and so close to downtown Asheville. She was incredibly accommodating with my schedule coming in and leaving. Tanya left a list places to visit and the ones I went to were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again if I came to Asheville. I highly recommend her home if you plan to visit the area.
We stayed at Tanya's for three nights. The space is cozy, clean and comfortable- perfect for a couple. Great kitchen and shower. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away, but a quick drive to downtown. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed a great weekend in Asheville. Only really interacted with Tanya when I arrived and when I left, but she was very pleasant and helpful with a list of interesting things to see and do posted on the fridge. The apartment was clean and comfortable in a pretty sleepy neighborhood. The place is so close to everything, though! Downtown is only a couple minutes down the street, and so is the Biltmore. If it's baseball season, the local minor league team is only a few short blocks away, too. If you should have a loved on in Mission Hospital for any reason, it's only a block or two away if you need a place to stay while they are there. Lots of DVDs, CDs and games to be found in the apartment, too. I didn't make use of any, but they were there if you want to!
A couple things worth noting... If you drive a large vehicle you may want to park across the street. There is parking in the driveway or next to it, but it would be kind of tight with a big vehicle. If you are a light sleeper or just easily annoyed by upstairs occupants, be aware that they have kids upstairs who are (from what I could hear) very active. Not really an issue after 10pm or so, but if you like to sleep late it may well bother you.
Great place to stay for our first visit to Asheville! Wonderful location near downtown and great having whole apartment with well equipped kitchen and separate entrance. Futon bed and sofa are not ideal but considering the reasonable price it made up for that and then some in other amenities. Great artwork on the walls! Tanya and Charles were very friendly and accommodating and even have a wonderful restaurant in the River Arts District. Will definitely recommend them to others visiting the area.
It was a nice stay at Tanya's apartment. It is close by to attractions. It is a separate apartment, it is like having your own private time. We were able to cook in the kitchen, which is nice.
Thank you Tanya for making our stay in Asheville a great one! As advertised, and very accommodating.
The apartment is just as described and is a great home base for getting around town. Tanya was great to work with and went out of her way to help make our stay in Asheville easier. I would definitely stay there again.
My friend and I had a great time in Asheville and really enjoyed staying at her place. The apartment was clean and well furnished and very close to downtown Asheville, trendy West Asheville and the River Arts District. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.
We had a very nice stay with Tanya in Asheville. The apartment is close to the downtown and is in a pleasant residential area. We were out most of the time when we visited, but it was a perfect place to crash for the night and rest up a bit. The bed was very comfy!
This B n B stay at Tanya's home sweet home was a FIVE star in all categories. I look forward and hope to stay there again!
A Nashville fan!
