  • The host is very hospitable and tries her best to accomodate to your needs! Location is splendid - convenient, not too noisy like you would expect hongdae to be, near to subway and food any time of the day/night. It was a great experience overall!

Remember to learn about how to use the heating system well though - that would be important.

  • 5 of us (men my friends) were having holiday @ seoul and decided to live in skyguesthouse... This was the best decision we ever made... The room was cozy, complete with kitchen, bathroom and of course wi-fi...

And what made our trip special is the kindness & hospitality from the owner/host ... She helped us with a lot if our trip and made us feel like home ... And this is the experience that you won't get even in a 5 star hotel ...

We are definitely loved our trip because of the host ... Nuna thank you for all that you provided for us ...

  • Ms. Min was very accommodating in allowing us, a family of 5 to stay at the Sky Guesthouse She even brought a folding cot for our 5 yr old. We enjoyed our stay very much.... had so much of the local flavor from being able to walk around the older style neighborhoods... we were 'Gangnam'ed out'.

About the only nitpick is the staircase to go up to the 3rd floor... no real safety concern as the railing and the staircase is sturdy but we had to pay attention as the incline angle & step heights are more than the US standards.

We never made it to Yeouido parks but it's on our to do list for next time. Times Square is definitely a repeat visit experience.... NY Hot Dog (4th floor?) was well worth the trip! As was Baskin Robbins!

  • I was really well looked after by Mrs Young. She was an excellent host. The place I had requested became unavailable due to some plumbing problems, but she found me another place which was similar and in an even better location.

  • Staying at Hyeong Min's apartment was such a good experience! We really enjoyed our trip in Korea and she was so helpful. The house is so cozy, clean and complete. We could cook without any hassle as she has complete equipments for that. She treated us like her family and really-really helpful and friendly. She even sent us to subway stations and taught us how to go to nearby Subway stations. I will definitely recommend my friends, relatives and family to stay at her apartments if they want to go to Korea. Thumbs up for Unnie!

  • The apartment is very cosy and comfortable. The interior is very cute and colourful, lots of little decorations that feel you like living in your own home. Young Hyeon Min is very friendly and helpful host, she picked us up and dropped us back to Singil station. She also taught us how to cook Samgyupsal (BBQ pork) and took us to the famous spicy noodle soup restaurant nearby. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed staying in her apartment, we already missed Korea so much, one day if we have a chance we'll be back.

  • My overall experience with the host and the guest house was positive the only drawbacks I can say about this place is that it is small and there are alot of stairs to climb which can be tough early in the morning when you have been out all night and as with most streets in Seoul the street access to the house is small so a few of the cabs had a hard tme getting out of the area when they picked us up. The host was attentive and usually answered my questions right away. She was also very helpful when we left in getting us a cab as we were running very late for our flight and we luckily made it in time. I would deffintely give this place a chance if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in Seoul it was a good deal and really close to the metro station and bus stops and in an area with plenty to do any time of the day or night.

  • Younghyeon was a very helpful and friendly host. Every time I contacted her she answered very quickly.
Internet with the ethernet cable is very fast.
The 2 bedroom flat was perfect for me. The location in Yeongdeungpo was so close to the shopping mall, Time square shopping mall is the biggest in Korea. The flat was spacious, clean and equipped with everything a person would need while staying in the apartment. I would certainly recommend the flat to my friends.
And Next time I come back to Seoul I will definitely contact Yonghyeon again!!!!!

  • Host: Very accommodating, flexible, and very attentive with my needs. Aside from that, she was also very funny and easy to get along with. In addition, she was able to bring me to a music program, which was absolutely cool and showed how she went over and beyond as a host. Along with being over and beyond as a host, she even took my friends and I to EMART on the day we arrived to get some groceries; she took us out to eat; and on our last day, she brought over kbbq! Lastly, she helped out as much as possible when we asked for directions to certain attractions.

Place: I stayed at this location for my whole visit in South Korea - a total of 3 weeks. It looks exactly like the photos shown; comfortable and cozy. The place was clean and well furnished. Upon arriving, I was unaware of the fact that it was located on the third level - meaning, walking up very steep (uneven) stairs. However, I got over it but it was a bit inconvenient since my luggage was huge and heavy (T.T) Aside from that, it's located in a quiet neighborhood and lets you get a feel of how Koreans live. It's a quick walk to Singil Station and it's nearby small boutiques and mini marts. I didn't quite explore the area as much but I do know it's nearby 2 high schools, particularly a boy's high school. The air quality is a bit bad; as well as the smell of the area (coming from someone who lives in USA) but it was bearable. The view from living on the third floor was spectacular! The blue room is equipped with television/computer and lots of maps/tourist information for conveniency. There was also AC in both rooms which helped a lot since it was very hot during my stay.

Overall, my stay was great and I would definitely recommend her place to others if they were going to South Korea.
