Great apartment in an area within close proximity to the metro. Great shower and bed. Johan's assistant, Mary, met us promptly and was very polite and extremely helpful. We needed extra sheets and she brought them to us immediately. The apartment is on the first floor and the street can get a bit too loud at night, it is in the heart of Paris so the noise should be expected. All in all, a great experience at Johan's apartment. I would recommend this apartment.
Beautiful apartment, though it was rather dark and noisy at night (as there are numerous whole sale shops located on the street). Perfect location - we were able to walk to a lot of attractions (Louvre, Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville). Otherwise, the metro was super convenient. Lots of convenient stores nearby!
The apartment itself is better and bigger than the pictures. Beautifully decorated. The only problem we had was that the shower drain didn't work properly - nothing draino can't fix!
Host was great, the welcome binder was awesome - it even has personalized recommendations about restaurants to try out! Johan was willing to work out a better check out time for us.The person who welcomed us told us about the free wifi and password located around the city - super handy!
All in all, a wonderful place to stay!

My sisters and I stayed at this apartment for 9 nights. This was our first experience with Airbnb so we were quite nervous at first. Our experience was pretty positive. Johan was very quick to respond to our emails throughout the booking process. His assistant, Maêl, was waiting for us at the apartment when we got there. He gave us a quick tour of the apartment and how to work the TV and the wifi.
The location is pretty central and easy to walk to everything. The metro station is a 3 minute walk. The building is located on a strange street. There are rows and rows of shops selling leather goods during the day and at night it's pretty empty. A couple of nights, there were some drunk people hanging out on the street, which was a really uncomfortable for us.
The apartment itself is pretty modern and nicely decorated. The living room is pretty light and spacious, but is noisy with the windows open. The bedroom is dark and for the most part very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is small but sufficient, but could be cleaner. We were pretty comfortable. The unit is on the first floor and you have to walk up about 25 narrow and uneven steps and there's no elevator.
All in all we had a really comfortable stay at this apartment and really enjoyed our trip. Thank you Johan.
Apartment is great, lots of space and well furnished. Location is right on the edge of the marais and very close to the arts et metiers metro which made getting around the city very easy. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance as well, as well les halls and the Pompidou center.
Was my first booking experience with airbnb and a very good one indeed
They apartment was very clean, organised and close the great shops restaurants and bars.
The check in and out were exceptionally well organised with Internet and door codes written down in a very professional way.
I will definitely recommend Johan apartments to anyone who wants to have their own spare and freedom do come and go whenever they please.
On my return to Paris I will definitely book with Johan again
This is a BEAUTIFUL apartment in a LOVELY area of Paris. It is close to everything - and I mean everything. Johan and his colleague, Benoit, took great care of me. They were polite, they were courteous, very attentive to our requests.
The apartment is designed by an architect - very trendy, on a very quiet, quaint street of Paris. It has lots of natural light, a very open feel, and overall very well laid out. You will not want to leave...
I would highly recommend Johan and his team and their apartments... all in all, it was one lovely Parisian trip.
Some pointers - there are loads of shops/cafes/restaurants/bakeries in a 3-5 min walking distance near Rambuteau Metro station and Art de Metiers Metro station. ... so convenient.
We had a wonderful stay in Johan’s beautiful, spacious apartment, which looks exactly like the photos. Three of us had more than enough room and privacy, with tons of storage space for clothes, etc. Our friend said the sofa bed was one of the most comfortable he had slept on, and the bedroom—with a walk-in closet!—was completely quiet and dimly lit (perfect for sleeping in late). Bathroom and kitchen were both modern and clean. We didn’t have much time for cooking, but if we had, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, glasses, etc. (being from NYC, it was also a nice perk to have a washing machine right there in the kitchen). It was chilly during our stay in mid-July, so we never needed to run the AC in the bedroom, but it was good to know it was there just in case. The apartment is just a couple of blocks from the Arts et Métiers metro stop, and in easy walking distance of the Pompidou (a must-see if you love modern/contemporary art) and countless dining and shopping options in the Marais. The street itself is really quiet and cute—mostly wholesale handbag merchants that are open during the day, and at night very little foot traffic or noise. Johan was totally pleasant and accommodating, and arranged for us to have use of an extra key (let him know in advance if you need one). Staying here was a perfect introduction to Paris.
The apartment was great, well located (super close to the Arts et Metiers Metro Stop) and clean! Johan was very responsive and friendly about our questions before the trip and in helping us during our stay to trouble shoot wireless access. The bed was comfortable and we very much appreciated the bedroom air conditioning unit as it was a bit hot and humid in the City during our week long stay. We have been recommending the place to our friends and family and would happily stay again! Thanks!
The apartment was in a great location, close to all the amenities of the Marais and the city centre. It was clean and very well furnished, with stylish details. We travelled with a baby and Johan arranged for us a baby cot: he was very nice and helpful in every occasion.
It's been a very good experience and I would recommend this flat to everyone.
