A gated gravel driveway leads to our Off-Grid Camp House. Situated on mountaintop acreage bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest, the Camp House is equipped with solar power and private, indoor composting toilet.
Rest from adventures on the queen and double sized beds, cook meals in your covered, outdoor kitchenette, dine al fresco in the trees, take a heated shower from the rain-collection system, and charge your devices via the charging station. Pets OK

The space
The property is remote and protected from the noise and lights of the city. Bring your belongings, food, and adventure gear. We provide most cooking essentials, dish-ware, bedding, towels, soap, and toilet paper. The kitchenette has potable water and hand basin, two-burner propane stove on the concrete countertop, separate propane grill, and dining for four. There is NO refrigeration, bring your cooler.
Also, our space is PET-FRIENDLY. Please pick up after pets!

During your stay

Your hosts live 10 miles down the road and are available for assistance should you need it. There is cellular service at the property. Your hosts will be stopping by every other day to do composting toilet maintenance and should be in and out in fifteen minutes.
PLEASE always close the gate behind you to prevent unwanted visitors. We have found that there are frequent lookie-lou's that are curious about a tree house.
