This cabin is the ultimate romantic getaway for a couple, yet also accommodates a small family with the daybed, trundle, and sleeper sofa options available.
As you arrive, you will marvel at the beauty of this modern farmhouse cabin tucked far back into the woods. Its gorgeous black and white exterior was the inspiration for its name, The Roasted Marshmallow.
Upon entering, you will be drawn in by the floor to ceiling shiplap throughout the cabin, vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and windows on every wall that allow natural light to filter in, making you feel like you are one with nature. Our goal is for you to feel right at home before you even step in the front door. Inside, you will be comfortable with plenty of space to spread out in this open floorpan. It features an enormous kitchen with granite countertops and is fully stocked with high quality cookware, appliances, and charming dishware. The oversized island is perfect for entertaining and cooking and can seat six people. There is also a dining table for 4, where you can not only enjoy meals, but also play the board games provided in the cabin, waiting for your arrival! Nestled in the corner is the perfect nook to curl up and read a book. It conveniently doubles as a daybed with trundle, an additional sleeping area if needed. The comfortable living room features a pull out sofa and gas log fireplace that instantly comes on with the turn of a timer, creating a mesmerizing fire for you to relax by and enjoy while watching the 65 inch flat screen smart TV with YouTube TV Streaming Service. Strong Wi-Fi and 30 Mbps internet speed will help keep you connected if you need to be.
The spacious and private master bedroom features vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beam, a king size bed, conveniently located plugs for charging your devices, and a 65 inch flat screen smart TV with YouTube TV Streaming Service and en suite bath. This awe-inspiring bathroom just might be your favorite place in the cabin! Enjoy soaking in the freestanding tub overlooking the towering pines and dense forest. The double shower features a rain shower head and gorgeous custom tile work. This bathroom also offers a private water closet and separate laundry room.
When you’re ready to venture outside, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch that wraps around 3 sides of the cabin. It leads you around to a private 4-person hot tub, outdoor sofa overlooking the forest, and gas log outdoor fireplace, also easily turned on with a timer switch. Your outdoor experience has been thoughtfully designed with various locations to relax and unwind: an outdoor fire pit area with 4 Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows; a picnic table nestled under the trees, just right for al fresco dining and serving up those steaks you’ve thrown on the grill; and coming soon, a serene and restful area created for 2 outdoor swings and 2 hammocks where you can enjoy an afternoon snooze as you look up into the green pines and blue skies.
This is one cabin you may never want to leave, but if you should choose to venture out, your options are endless: local restaurants, wineries, and breweries as well as hiking, zip-lining, petting zoo, boating, fishing, miniature golf, go-karts, an escape room, horseback riding, and even a small train ride through the forest that is great for families of young kids and adults alike. The pull through driveway can accommodate boat trailers; it is recommend that you pull in and go towards the left when pulling a boat.
