  • Debbie's house was great -- spacious, clean, light, airy, charming, well-decorated and contained all the amenities we needed (including cable tv, wifi, modern kitchen and cooking utensils). It is a few minutes walk from the center of town, with restaurants and shops, although the street on which the house sits is fairly quiet. Debbie left a box of cookies, bottle of wine and breakfast foods for us upon arrival, as well as a note containing a lot of helpful information about the area. We brought our 9 month old baby with us and she was very comfortable playing in the living room. Her travel crib fit nicely in the master bedroom with us. The house also has a beautiful backyard with a grill (but unfortunately for us, it rained both days we were there, so we didn't get to use it).

  • We so enjoyed Debbie's beautiful home and the lovely little town of Rhinebeck.
Everything about the house was top notch - furnishings, immaculate, comfortable not to mention a lovely backyard with many beautiful birds visiting the feeder.
Debbie was more than kind to leave us wine, chocolates, muffins, eggs, strawberry jelly, milk and orange juice --- so appreciated to start the next morning without any worries. There were complete and uncomplicated information on tv, internet, air conditioning, maps and suggestions for wonderful restaurants. After eating the flatbread pizza at Gigi's I have been tainted for any other pizza -- amazing ! The neighborhood is quaint and quiet -- all very attractive. I really enjoyed a book that Debbie has about flower and leaf collage that was from the '50's - just tickled me. Another highlight was reading the children's book that Debbie has recently published -- it is a sweet story for little ones who live far away from their Grandmom's or in my case Marmee. I purchased the book for a friend and Debbie is signing it and sending it to me.
If you are fortunate enough to stay in this property be prepared for the best ! Location is excellent - close to town and the fairgrounds.
Thank you Debbie for sharing your home - just made our trip perfect.

  • We had a lovely time in this beautifully renovated, immaculately clean, and spacious Rhinebeck home. Debbie, the host, made many thoughtful touches including notes about town, breakfast basics, and welcoming chocolate and wine. Debbie was also a good communicator in setting everything up.

  • The pictures of this home did not do it justice! It was lovely inside, the bathrooms and kitchen were all modern, everything was very clean, and the backyard area is gorgeous. It was spacious for myself and three friends, and it was a short cab ride away from the Rhinecliff. Debbie was a great host also. Thank you so much for making our stay easy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Debbie's home was perfect for a weekend in Rhinebeck. She left us a lovely note that gave us the lay of the land and she even stocked her fridge with breakfast food. This home is perfect for a couples weekend as the bedrooms are far enough apart to have privacy. Would definitely go back. Thanks Debbie!

I'm a journalist who lived and worked in the Middle East for 20 years, originally from Boston and now splitting my time between the gorgeous Hudson Valley and the Green Mountain State. Our home in Rhinebeck Village is a vintage cape all on one floor, newly remodeled, open-floor-plan layout with a lovely secluded backyard. We're on a quiet street, just a five minute walk to the village's charming boutiques, gourmet restaurants and cafes, and holistic body/yoga centers, and independent cinema. Our place is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city, whether it's for the renowned Dutchess County Fair, the fall foliage season, or the Antique shows on the Fair Grounds.
