Delightful room with a view of the water; queen bed and big bathroom; large walk in closet; outside door opens to small covered porch with outside shower; private beach with use of canopy, chairs.....free internet & cable TV. Minutes from Naval Air Station, 10 minutes from downtown Pensacola, 20 minute drive to both Pensacola beach and Perdido beach. Plenty of free parking.
Peg was absolutely fabulous! She took care of us really well - letting us use her jacuzzi, her cooler, beach chairs, the list goes on and on. The room was great and the view even better! I had a great time in Pensacola - what a great city :).
We loved staying at Peg and Bills beautiful home. They are gracious, giving people who went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. It was great to eat breakfast on the deck overlooking the water and watch the sun rise from the cozy bedroom. You can not go wrong staying with them. It is very easy to get to the National Sea Shore Beach, just spectacular with beautiful white sand and sparking (email hidden)eat fish restaurants that they recommended . Best red snapper I have ever had at Flounders
We spent 2 nights at Peg's home 25/26 Sept, on our Florida tour, what a fantastic location, with it's own private beach, and yet only 10 minutes from downtown Pensacola.
Although we did not meet Peg, who was away , her friend Yvonne greeted us and showed us where everything was, there is so much to do in and around Pensacola and Peg's home is an ideal place to be based
We would have no hesitation in booking again if we are ever again in Pensacola and we would not hesitate to recommend to friends who are traveling through Pensacola

Had a great experience at Peg's,A great host,Great view of the bay and really close to the navel air station.
What a lovely house and right on the water. Out of the hubbub, quiet and private. I had a room that faces the water and in the morning the view is spectacular. The hosts were courteous, friendly and showed me where coffee filters were etc...I was told I could use a row boat if I liked.
The decor is beachy Americana I would say. Red, white and blue with a touch of NOLA, wrought iron staircase but also a ship's model and a perched starfish. There are family pictures on almost every surface. Black leather modular sofas and a very high loft ceiling complete with ceiling fan. Contemporary with intergenerational historical artifacts especially modern and artistic Christian symbols.
I would stay here again. Don't let the neighborhood scare you. When you pull into the drive a very upper middle class environment.
Peggy, Bill, and their daughter-in-law April were wonderful hosts during my extended stay in the Nautical Room. Peggy and Bill went out of their way to make sure my stay was the best possible, and April was readily available to answer my many questions; yet no one in the house was obtrusive. The Nautical room and the shared areas of the home were also clean, well kept, and accurately represented in the photos. During my stay in Pensacola, I took several day trips to other popular vacation areas including Destin, Pensacola Beach, South Walton Beaches, Perdido, and Fairhope. After comparing my experiences in each of the areas, Peggy and Bill's would be my first choice for future visits to the area. The home provided a beautiful, relaxing setting within a short drive of all the main attractions.
This was my first time using AirBnB much less "renting a room". I have always fell accustomed to the disappointing drudgery of the typical hotel/hotel room. Even in 4 star hotels! With this in mind, I was extremely surprised and pleased with our accommodations.
To start with, Peg went above and beyond to work with us on check in/check out to meet OUR needs, even with my last minute plans. Peg and A**** were more accommodating than even the best of concierge services at ANY 5 star resort. Her home was absolutely beautiful not to mention strategically placed on the water. We enjoyed every second of our stay and savored every instance of extremely quite and relaxing environment. I would recommend Peg and her home to ANY of my closest friends. I will NEVER revert back the days the hotel as long as people like Peg are on AirBnB.
We really enjoyed staying with the White family! They were great hosts and we really appreciate the hospitality.
The house is beautiful - tastefully decorated, lots of natural sunlight, many porches and the water just steps away. Great view of the water, the sunrise and moon from the full porch. Peg accommodated my very last minute request and found room for me the day of my trip. April, Peg's daughter in law who lives downstairs, greeted me upon arrival and was very nice, showed me around, and left me to relax. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!
