Beautifully renovated apartment with tall ceilings which is very good in the heat of Rome. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend it!
I stayed at Trastevere sky room for three nights in July 2015, after first staying at a hotel close to the Spanish steps for some days. Overall, I am very happy with my stay.
The appartment is located in a traditional appartment building in a quiet part of Trastevere. The pictures do it justice - the appartment is well - appointed and Alessandra has an eye for design. The floor planning is great and the rooms are spot clean and feels spacious and open. The bathroom has a stylish 'walk-in' shower- really good after a long day in the city.
The room was one of two that was rented out while I was there. Again, well - appointed with a nice, big bed, a desk for work, a really nice, stylish cabinet with plenty of room for clothes/storage, and a large window to let in the sunshine. For those of you concerned with safety, you will get your own key - another plus. The wifi worked excellent
and check-in/out went smoothly.
I didn't meet her personally, but Alessandra was easy to communicate with, quick to reply, and let me know she could always be reached. Her English is also very good! I was greeted by Adolphine, who was kind, helpful and interested - she also made a favourable impression.
I really liked that the appartment was really close to the heart of Trastevere, but also on a quieter street. You will get the best of two worlds- both closeness to Trastevere's lively night life and restaurants, but little noise. It is also an easy and quick walk to most of the attractions of Rome - a good starting position to enjoy the city in all directions!
If you are looking for a serene and nice place to stay in Rome that has a more local feel to it whilst also being close to the more touristy things, this is a good place for you. Next time I am in Rome, this is definitely one of my go-to options. Highly recommended.
A beautiful, welcoming space in one of Rome's most charming neighborhoods. A short walk from the historic center and right next to great restaurants and pretty streets for an evening stroll. Although Alessandra wasn't there the night we arrived, her housekeeper Adolphine was very welcoming and Alessandra called to give advice and explain the apartment. A bit noisy at night but the fan blocks out a lot of the sound. A great place for a weekend in Rome!
This is a very good place and right in middle of all action, You can walk around all the attractions. Everything is max 2-3 kms distance, we covered all the attractions by walk only. Although this place is well connected with bus and tram as well.
Initially it was bit difficult to find the place for us but alessandra provided good directions and provided all the required help and assistance. I would recommend this place as a good value for money.
Very accurate description. Big place. Great bathroom. I had my own private room with a locked door. Big bedroom.
Loved the Trastevere neighborhood. There is a little cafe and wine bar right across the street which is convenient for food, espresso, and vino. Very lively place with super friendly people that speak both Italian and English.
Close to public transportation. Close to Piazza Trilusa – a wonderful meeting place.
It is a little noisy at night, but quite honestly, that did not bother me. I live in downtown San Francisco. I liked the City noise. Early July. Very hot in Rome. A fan for the room would be a great addition to this B&B.
Great internet! (not always the case in Italy)
Would stay there again!
The host responded very quick and the communication was easy. Unfortunately, we did not meet Alessandra but her father, who was very kind and recommended great places to eat. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood, with only some noise from the streets, but that was not a problem. You can reach numbers of restaurants, cafes and bars only a few minutes from the apartment and even walk to well known tourist attractions. The flat was very modern and well organized with everything you need. The sharing-system of the flat works great, because you get own keys to your room.
Great location and neighborhood! The house was very clean and had wonderful style. The only thing was that our room was extremely hot and loud at night, but it really was the perfect set up for us for being in Rome! Alessandra was very accommodating.
