Le petit appartement que met à notre disposition Beverly et Michael est une vrai pouponnière, délicieusement meublè avec tout le confort. Je vous recommande les merveilleux breakfast de Beverly.
We had such a lovely restful stay with Beverly and Michael.
The house was so warm and cosy and I loved the decor.
Breakfast was yummy and they both we're so accommodating for special dietary needs.
Fantastica esperienza! Il posto è bello proprio come nelle foto, il bagno è fantastico e la colazione è buonissina e ti permette di tirare tranquillamente fino a cena! è un posto che unisce il calore di una dimensione familiare con la professionalità di un hotel *****!
great experience! beautiful place like in photos, the bathroom big and comfortable, breakfast ....amazing and you can feel good until dinner! this place links the family dimension with the professionalism of an hotel *****
I had the best of stays in Dover at Beverly's and Michael ! Warm welcome at the coach station, perfect location just minutes away from town center, private entrance. Beautiful comfortable room with iPhone/ iPod dock ( convenient if you need to recharge your phone) tv, warm and comfortable bed (Beverly had a hot bottle ready for me!) tea kettle ( Michael brought me a glass of wine:-) beautiful bathroom with luxurious bath tub and a area to hang your clothes . Breakfast upstairs was just 5 ***** ( it sustained me way after linch time) and the atmosphere of the house just a delight. Too bad I only stayed a night! I would definitively stay at Beverly and Michael again, they were the perfect hosts, thank you !
We had the pleasure of staying here for three nights in September. My partner and I shared the lower en suite room and our son was accommodated in the single room on the upper floor. As mentioned by some other reviewers the ceiling in the lower room is quite low, but this in no way detracted from our enjoyment of our stay with Michael. The rooms were spotlessly clean and there was ample space available to live out of suitcases and still be able to move freely around the room. The full english breakfast was everything we had been lead to believe it would be, and Michael is a most accommodating and friendly host. We have no hesitation in recommending this b & b for anyone contemplating staying in or around Dover.
I had a lovely week in this beautiful b&b. Michael was an excellent host, very kind and good company. He has quite a few stories to tell if you like to hear them (though he is by no means forcing them upon you).
Michael's breakfast is amazing, full English but low in fat so you can manage it easily in the mornings. You can truly forget about lunch if you like, which makes it easy on you if you plan on hiking out on the cliffs.
The room is cozy, though not ideally suited for the longer six footers. There's enough space to put your stuff and get your suitcase out of way, which I like because I hate tripping over it like you do in some smaller places. The room can be a bit light at night though, so if you're not used to that you might want to bring a sleeping mask. If you like, there's a kettle, tea, coffee and even cookies if you like to stay in a moment and read a book or watch TV. There are also a few supermarkets close by should you fancy to get yourself something else like a bottle of wine and some cheese.
All in all a great place to stay if you wish to explore Dover and its surroundings. I will be coming back!
Extremely hospitable and kind! Very comfortable and homey space. Excellent location. Thanks for being lovely hosts and providing a restful space!
Alas, I did not use my reservation on account of a last-minute itinerary change. However, I will say how kind and accomodating Beverly was in making the pre-arrangements. Please do go and stay when you are in Dover. I hope to go, yet, one day in the future!
Michael was an attentive host. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean. He got up at 5:30 in the morning to make us delicious coffee before our early train. We'd highly recommend his beautiful home!
