Cricket Hollow was know for it Moonshine production in the 1920's-30's and even in the 70's. In my deed there is noted a 1974 trailer being on the property. I found out after I purchased the property from the neighbor that it was just a shell and his father had a still behind the trailer and made moonshine. In the Hollow by the creek are remnants of moonshine stills. I was told there were 25. i counted 6 on my property.
