This house is right above a gorgeous, deserted (in April) beach that connects to Headlands Park. Great beach combing, playing with dogs, talking to the seals, listening to the waves and watching the birds dive for fish. Gary must be an artist; he has all kinds of interesting sculptures and antiques and "found items" in the backyard and house. There's a treehouse looking out over the ocean and a leafy green grotto. Our dogs found it all fascinating, as did we. The house is funky beach style. A lot of fun! There's a bakery/coffee shop/cafe in town called Good Life that has the best food! Great pumpkin curry. Town is walking distance. The kind of place to stay that you'll never forget.

Perfect location. Close enough to the shops to walk and far enough away to be quiet. Beach access was very walkable.

A brilliant house, quirky, interesting and comfortable with a great bedrooms, a comfy lounge and a lovely well equipped dinning room and kitchen. Menocino and the surrounding area are fantastic for walking, for good food and for whales. The house has a path directly to the beach and the walk along Big River from there is great. Highly recommended.

Love Mendocino, and would love to share one of the best places to visit with you.

This home is a special home. Lots of history, one of the few with a path straight to the beach. Great for long stays
