In London location is everything and this property is in a prime spot for business visitors and tourists alike. Canary Wharf is within 10 minutes walk, and the City (the heart of London's financial district) is just two stops - 5 minutes - on the DLR.
The apartment is located on historic Narrow Street, and restaurants, riverside pubs and local shops are all within 5 minutes walk. These include The Grapes, a traditional docklands riverside pub once frequented by Charles Dickens and Samuel Pepys, and now owned by Sir Ian Mckellen, and The Narrow, a Gordon Ramsay gastro-pub overlooking the river and the attractive Limehouse marina.
Limehouse is a safe and friendly residential neighbourhood, and we are right in the centre of this established and vibrant community. Transport links are numerous and excellent with Limehouse and Westferry DLR stations both within 5 minutes walk (Limehouse station also provides access to the national railway network). London underground connections are available at Canary Wharf (Jubilee line - aprox 10 minutes walk). Or take the Thames Clipper riverboat service (a superb way to travel) west to Tower Bridge, the West End and all central London attractions, or east to historic Greenwich and the O2 Arena. Alternatively just pick up a "Boris bike" close by, and go wherever you please at your leisure!
We are perfectly located for autumn and Christmas shopping or sight-seeing trips. All London Premier League football stadiums and other sports venues and Exhibition Centres (including the Olympic Park, O2 Arena, Excel, Lords and The Oval cricket grounds) are also easily accessible.

Limehouse is a quiet residential neighbourhood. One of our first guests described it as a "gentrified corner of London", and we feel it has just the right mix of city buzz combined with peace and quiet. We are away from busy main roads and right by the river, but public transport links are excellent, local shops are on the doorstep, and Canary Wharf (immediately to the East) and the City of London (two miles to the west) are barely a stone's throw away.
Transport links are abundant; within a few minutes walk we have connections to the Docklands Light Railway, London Underground, London Overground, National Rail Network, Thames River Services and the Boris Bike Network. In addition there are countless red bus services and black London taxis which will take you wherever you wish to go.
This is a no smoking property! We are on the 4th floor and have wood floors in some rooms, so to respect our neighbours, please remove outdoor shoes when entering the apartment. You are welcome to share use of the kitchen and living facilities to cook, wash clothes (in reasonable quantities!) or simply to sit and read, watch a film or enjoy a glass of wine. We ask only that you keep and leave everything in the spotless condition in which you will find it.
