Other things to note
Created by the award-winning Portuguese Architect Alvaro Siza Vieira, the Bouça housing complex is an Architectural Icon and a piece of Portuguese living History. Built-in two stages, (1974-1977 and 2005-2006), it was originally designed by Siza with the direct participation of the future residents in the aftermath of the political revolution that generated the regime transition from dictatorship to democracy, and it is now a vibrant neighbourhood and home for a diverse array of people. The result is an ingenious and innovative housing model that offers direct private access from the street and a spacious internal layout.
This fully equipped cosy duplex can be your home in Porto. It is located in the centre, right next to the Lapa metro station and includes an individual free parking space in the building's garage.

Where you’ll be

Porto, Portugal

The apartment is part of an originally social habitational complex, conceived by Siza Vieira, one of the most highly regarded architect's of its time. Nowadays, still some needy people live there, but are accompanied by art scholars and intelectuals, formind an highly heterogeneous community.
It's located in a central area on the edge of the historic center, from where you easily begin a walking visit to all the places of interest in the center of Porto, but at the same time quiet enough to allow you to do so with all the energy after a well-rested night.

It is an 8 minute walk from the Clérigos Tower, probably the most iconic building in the city, and Lello Bookstore, already distinguished as the most beautiful bookstore in the world. Also close from Avenida dos Aliados, one of the city's visiting postcards with its monumental nineteenth-century buildings.
Also close from the Boavista area, where Casa da Música (house of music) is located as well as from Rua de Santa Catarina with its numerous clothing stores, with many of the international companies present, healthily coexisting with old bookstores, exquisite cafes like Café Majestic, as well as appealing pastry shops.
