The space
IMPORTANT: The bach is not suitable for children under 4 as it has been set up with adults and school-aged children in mind. However, this is negotiable. Please feel free to message and discuss.

This is an original classic bach experience. The bach was originally a railway cottage built at the turn of the 20th century. It had extra rooms added to it in the 1950's when it was used as a family home. It has been preserved in this way until the present day with the exception of some minor refurbishments.
Being an original from the 1950's the bach can be cold in late autumn and winter. There are fan heaters in both bedrooms, the TV room and the sitting room, electric blankets on both beds, spare woollen blankets and three foot- pocket blankets which are warm and cosy.
For summer there are small fans in both bedrooms and pedestal fans in the TV Room and sitting room. There is a lockable security mesh front door allowing the main front door to remain open on hot nights.
The cottage sits adjacent to undeveloped rural land. The Napier/Wairoa railway runs past the front door. A logging train runs past on weekdays at 7am. (approx.)and 4pm (approx.)- subject to change!
