About this listing
Coconut Cottage is a quaintly decorated, much loved, private hillside retreat. Often referred to as a "treehouse" as the living area and decks are surrounded by palm trees with lovely ocean views and breezes.
A few minute walk to beautiful Sandy and Pools Beach, and also near many nice restaurants, bars, boutiques and yoga!
You can see us on: You Tube "Russell's Rave Reviews en Rincon - Coconut Cottage". Fun video and helpful visual!
The Cottage decks and living space have a 'tree house' feel and offer the simple, uncomplicated life Rincon is known for. Although slightly off the beaten path and hidden, it is easy walking distance to beautiful surf beaches (Pools Beach and Sandy Beach), restaurants, surf shops, bodegas and yoga.
The open kitchen and living room has a comfortable dining and sitting area with plenty of whimsical charm. The vaulted ceiling and overhead ceiling fans keep the cottage cool, as well as the welcoming ocean breezes.
The cottage has WIFI, a small television with local cable and a CD player with a definite eclectic mix of tunes. There is a lending library, guest art supplies, drums and board games to enjoy.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave and a dining area that seats four to six people. The pantry is stocked with spices and coffee as well as paper towels, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap and toilet paper. Always plenty of bath and beach towels!
Both bedrooms have comfy queen size beds, overhead ceilings fans and A/C. The loft area has a third queen size bed with fans (no A/C).
The second story wrap around deck is your own private outdoor living space with hammocks, outdoor dining table and overhead fan. The 3rd story upper deck has a small sitting area with fantastic ocean views. Perfect space for star gazing, sunbathing, Yoga and Winter whale watching.
On the ground level is the outdoor shower and laundry room (washer and dryer) where you will also find the charcoal grill, snorkels and beach chairs.
We are located in the Puntas section of Rincon
which has beautiful beaches and a very laid-back small beach community vibe.
Thursday Night Rincon Art Walk and Sunday Farmer's Market are not to be missed on your travels here!

Interaction with Guests
When we are not in Rincon, our home is in Woodstck, NY. Although we stay in close contact through email or phone, we unfortunately, miss the opportunity to meet you in person. Our loss! We cherish the art work, doodles and notes our guests have left to remember them by.
Our caretakers, Lindsey and Jeremy, live close by and are awesome!!! Originally from Colorado, they have made a home in Rincon with their three puppies. You might spot them on Sundays paddle boarding with their pups at the Marina!
Calle Vista Linda is the BEST!!! We have the nicest, friendliest neighbors, great views and easy walk to beach.
You need a car! There is no public transportation in Rincon.
We are a 10 minute drive to nearest grocery store.
Rincon is spread out and having transportation to see it all is a must!
