This home is in a quiet area.
Unique handmade cabin located in a highland landscape - aspen trees, sage, and seasonal wildflowers. Perched 600' above the valley floor with views of surrounding mountains. The property abuts National Forest and Rendezvous recreation area - trails galore.

The space
The 1,000 square foot cabin has an open floor plan with two bedrooms - One queen bed and the other a double. The open floor plan features 8' partial height walls... so less privacy). Patios expand the living area to the out-of-doors.

There is a stand-alone hut located above the house. Glamping - with a heater and queen bed. Great experience spring, summer and fall. Winter use is only for the hardy.

An outdoor wood-fired hot tub available for winter use when the risk of forest fire is low - October thru May (fire-wood provided).

Neighborhood highlights

The cabin in located in the hillside community of Edelweiss. The area is bounded by National Forest land. To the north is the Rendezvous area and the MVSTA trail system, serving bikers, hikers and skiers. Rendezvous Mtn. provides a unique experience for for back county skiers - step out the door, put your skis on and go. Mountain bike trails galore, many made by local bikers. 100 yards to neighborhood walking trails. Access to the valley floor MVSTA trail system is a mile away. The community of Mazama is approximately 4 miles up valley and the town of Winthrop is 14 miles down valley.
