If you want to live in an urban heaven where everything is in reach of 15 minutes on bike or public transportation - this is it. Noerrebro is the most diverse and lively neighbourhood in central Copenhagen. You can reach a kebab, pizza, groceries, 7eleven, greengroceries, bars, clubs, cinema, cafés, bikeshops, interior design, 2hand, fashion clothing, cell phones etc. literally within minutes by foot. You can take a stroll in Copenhagen's most wonderful graveyard, where people hold picnics and hold hands. The largest park in Copenhagen is within 5 minutes by bicycle. And many of the sights of Copenhagen is within reach of 10/15/20 minutes on bike, such as Tivoli and Christiania. You can also take a swim indoor, play badminton, squash, ping pong, football, basketball within 10 minutes on foot. Public transportation goes right pass the door which connects you to metro to and from the airport. And still you're excluded from any noise from the streets. You've got the most cozy place in Copenhagen with internet of course, flat screen TV where you can connect your laptop or just watch one of many cable tv channels. You've also got a nice stereo where you can plug in your iPod, iPhone laptop or you can listen to my collection of vinyl records. You've got private bathroom. .
All in all you have everything you want from Copenhagen just outside your door step.
A nice front- and back yard where you can sit and enjoy a cigarette, a glass of wine or simply the sun:)
It is the most diverse and lively neighbourhood in Copenhagen. I love living here because of the people, the parks, the shops, the food, the atmosphere - simply everything.
Yes, Nørrebro is always very easy to get to.
I expect you to behave as reasonable people. Don't turn up the music too loud when it's early in the morning or late at night. Remember to turn the stereo and the lights off when not in use. Remember to close the windows when you leave the apartment. Treat it as if it were your own home. Clean up and don't break anything, thank you:)
We had a great time in Thor apartment in Copenhaguen. It was clean, cool and design, and well located.
The bathroom is the only disappointing point: it is really clean but a litte bit small and like a boat cabin.
Thor was a really friendly host, even if we arrive really late on Friday evening.
Great location, lovely flat, very tidy and clean, the pictures are exactly how the place is, everything was perfectly explained and very simple instructions to do things in the flat. Thank you very much Thor for letting us stay at your place, we will definitely stay at yours again (if it's available) Highly recommended!
Thank you Thor for a warm welcome and a great stay in Norrebro. The apartment was fantastic, well decorated and just as described. We were warm, comfortable and enjoyed our time inside as much as our time outside, in the city. This apartment is situated in a quiet yet central street and is only a brisk 15 minute walk to the city hub of Norreport. With great shops, cafes and restaurants in the near vicinity, Thor's place is the perfect choice for a weekend exploring Copenhagen. We can recommend The Laundromat cafe (http://(email hidden)/da) for a BIG breakfast and if you're into music, Route 66 ((website hidden)) for a great selection of vinyl records... which you can then play on Thor's great turntable. Highly Recommended!
Thor's city apartment was by the the homiest, most authentic Air BnB experience/holiday apartment I've stayed at. We received a warm welcome and some Danish Christmas cookies even though we were over an hour late.
The apartment itself is just the right size for two people, with good transport connections (very walkable to the centre as well, even though it was cold, rainy and windy during our stay). It's located in Copenhagen's probably most multicultural neighbourhood. It was spotless and we really appreciated the well equipped kitchen, which is also a rarity with short term rentals.
The apartment is very charming and located in a nice area. Thor was very helpful. It was a great stay in Copenhagen!!
The apartment is exactly as it looks in the picture, and is in a great location. The apartment is very easy to get to from the airport and Thor was really understanding when we were delayed arriving. Thor also kindly sent me a list of great jazz clubs in the area.
The apartment was clean and warm, with secure parking for bikes outside (which can easily be rented from near the apartment). The only thing that could do with some work is the bathroom which strangely has the taps linked up to the shower head, so you can risk getting showered on whilst washing your hands. Also the pipe from the sink to the floor can easily get knocked out.
I would definitely recommend the apartment though as a great place for a couple to base themselves for their visit to Copenhagen.
Thor's apartment is located in a very nice area in central Copenhagen and we are happy that we decided to stay at his apartment. Thor was also very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend his place to anyone travelling to Copenhagen!
