  • My cousin and I enjoyed our stay at Tricia's! The location was perfect. Close to everywhere we wanted to go including the airport. She was super easy to coordinate with and we would stay again. The outdoor areas were great as well!

  • Tricia's place was perfect for us! My fourteen-year-old and I were in SD visiting big brother who is stationed at Balboa Hospital. We fell in love with the place right away - location, perfect size, enough kitchen to do most of our breakfasts there and make our lunches to take on the road. The location was great for everything! We went to the zoo, Coronado, Solana Beach, Ocean Beach, LaJolla and Del Mar - all quick drives from "home". Then we hopped on the Trolley at the Washington Street stop ( three blocks away) for a Padres game and the Gaslamp Quarter. We took several strolls to Gelato Vero for coffee, pastries, brunch, and yes, gelato. The International Restaurant Row - literally one block away - had a neat vibe, always busy but never crowded.
With lots of going each day coming back to Tricia's deck for coffee and waking with yoga overlooking SD was awesome!
We had a great experience - Tricia was the perfect host. I recommend her place to anyone who wants their lodging to add to the experience of visiting San Diego.

  • Tricia's appartment is amazing! It's centrally located, on a hill where you have a fantastic view at San Diego Airport and the sea.
The balcony is very nice and you can watch the sunset with a bbq, there is a grill.
The flat itself is modern and very clean.
Everything worked out perfect, Tricia is a lovely host, she always replied immediately, although she was abroad.
I can highly recommend this appartment, we made an amazing experience, thank you Tricia.

  • This place is amazing! I was lucky enough to stay here during a last minute trip to San Diego. It is located in Midtown close to the airport, downtown, Mission Beach, and the 1-5 freeway to get around San Diego. It's a nice neighborhood with groovy restaurants and the Washington Trolley station nearby. The apartment is well maintained, spacious, nicely furnished, and really comfortable. The patio views can't be beat. Most importantly, Tricia was an excellent host and was super communicative throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Tricia is such a great host. She is super friendly and welcomes you into her home with open arms. The neighborhood is perfect. Restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is also super safe. The apartment is ideal for 1 to 2 people, although there were a few nights with 3 people and it worked out perfectly. The couch in the living room is really big and comfortable. The private rooftop deck was one of my favorite things about this apartment! Even though it is right by Highway 5, the airport, and train tracks, you get used to the noise and the windows shut out alot of the sound. It is awesome to be able to see the fireworks from SeaWorld every night in the summer! The only drawbacks to this apartment is that there is no microwave in the kitchen, no AC, and the unit wasn't 100% clean when I arrived.

  • I stayed in Tricia's apartment for 3.5 months, and it was a great experience. First, the location can't be beat; I could get anywhere I needed to go in under 10 minutes, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is bright, airy, and feels so homey. It's really well decorated and well equipped. The bed and couch are both very comfortable, I actually loved sleeping on the couch when I had guests in town. It's also spacious for a one bedroom. Four of us stayed in the apartment for a couple of nights, and it didn't feel cramped or like we were on top of each other at all. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the deck. While it can be loud out there because it's next to the freeway, it gets great sun and you can watch the planes take off and land from the airport. The freeway is still a little noisy all night, so if you're sensitive to noise maybe bring some earplugs.

Tricia was a great host. She was always responsive if I had any questions, and she was friendly and welcoming. The first week I was there, the fridge was making a funny noise, and she replaced it as soon as possible. Just very considerate! I would highly recommend staying with Tricia if you're in San Diego.

  • Tricia was great, the place was great, the dog was great! Will always stay here when visiting SD...very close to international row of restaurants and then just a few stops on the green line to the gaslamp district

  • Tricia is an excellent host! She is a great communicator, flexible, gave wonderful suggestions about what to explore in the surrounding area. Tricia's place is clean, nicely furnished, is located in a great area and has a terrace/balcony overlooking San Diego that is just beautiful. We would definitely stay with Tricia again!

I moved to San Diego from the Philippines with my family when I was 14. I've been a travel enthusiast my whole life and have visited over 30 countries, but I call San Diego my home! I worked as a concierge and hosted countless family and friends, guiding them around this beautiful city. I enjoy yoga, hiking, biking, running, skiing, scuba diving, and kayaking. I look forward to hosting you and sharing my favorite places and neighborhoods in the greater San Diego area!! ~Tricia
