The Space

The apartment is 62 sqm, with a nice big and bright kitchen. The decor is personal and influenced by interest in design, crafts and botany. There is free parking in streets surrounding the property, internet and homemade sourdough bread. The apartment is located in the urban Nørrebro area, 10 min. time to two green parks, close to good, cozy and trendy café, bar and shop areas. There are 5 minutes. walk to the busses, and no more than 3 run to the center in 10 minutes.
Nørrebro area is characterized by an urban, dynamic and open minded environment. There are good shopping facilities; several supermarkets, deli´s and a myriad of fruit and vegetable dealers. In summer, barbecues in the property's courtyard or go down to the nearest park and enjoy the picnic.

  • What a nice and cosy apartment! Hyggelig at its best :)
Marianne offers a very welcoming place to stay in Nørrebro which is a good start to explore the city and its attractions easily. We would recommend to rent a bike nearby as Copenhagen is not as small as its Swedish neigbour Malmö.
The apartment is very clean and furnished with love so that you feel being in your home away from home.
Communication with Marianne before and during our stay was perfect and she gave us some good tips where to go (e.g. very good coffee place and bakery in the hipster part of Nørrebro you can walk to easily.
Overall - a definite recommendation for 1-2 persons wanna have a good time in Denmark :) Tak!

  • We had a wonderful sunny week-end in Copenhague, which we explored from our cosy base at Marianne's. Her lovely apartment was just the perfect find: bright, comfortable, inviting. The neighbourhood was also great, just a step apart from the hypercenter and full of life, of nice bars and restaurants. Marianne provided excellent advice, together with a warm loaf of rugbrød, and a feeling of being home abroad.

  • We loved our stay at Marianne's in Copenhagen! She was very helpful in the lead up to our trip and left some good advice for us so we could make the most of the neighbourhood (the bike rental place across the road was excellent and cheap!).
The flat is cosy and conveniently located for exploring the city, and the fresh bread on arrival was a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Marianne's this past week. She was quick to respond to all of our communication before my stay and even helped me out with directions from the airport. She greeted us at her apartment and spent a good amount of time talking to us when we arrived even though it was late. She had baked a DELICIOUS loaf of bread for us and showed us where everything in her apartment was that we may need. It was funny because a majority of her recommendations were things that were already on my "to-do" list in Copenhagen, so I knew I picked the right place and the right host.

The area was perfect. A ton of restaurants, shops, craft beer bars, coffee shops, parks, and transportation a short walk away. We rented bikes on the next block for a few days and it was so incredibly easy to get anywhere we wanted to go downtown. I love the hip, urban feel to Copenhagen and you can tell Norrebro is the up-and-coming area (think the Brooklyn of NYC).

Marianne's apartment is pretty, bright, and clean. She has a lot of graphic design, ceramics, and other unique art pieces throughout. All of her plants give an inviting, homey feel to the whitewashed walls and Scandinavian style. She is on the first floor (I think European's consider it the "2nd" floor) of a quiet building. The bed is comfortable and the table in the living room provided a good workspace for planning out our days adventures and journal writing at night. The pictures that she has posted are extremely accurate.

I would definitely stay at Marianne's again. I hope that I'll get the chance to return to Copenhagen, it was such a wonderful city and Marianne's hospitality and great space made it even better.

  • We stayed at Marianne's apartment for a long we. The apartment is cozy and comfortable, well located and it's easy to go to the center of Copenhagen also by foot. Marianne is very kind and she welcomed us with a fantastic homemade bread that we really appreciated. I think that the quality/price ratio is very good.

  • Marianne was a fantastic host (that bread!) with great recommendations of where to go and what to do. The apartment was beautiful and incredibly inviting, we couldn't have honestly asked for more. We will definitely stay again and cannot recommend more highly. Thank you so much.

  • We had such a lovely time in Marianne's apartment. It was very clean, homely, well-decorated and comfortable. The area is very cool - we really liked the ice cream shop and Mikkeller & Friends bar. The sun was shining while we were there, so lots of people were out in the street enjoying it which gave a great atmosphere. The apartment is close to public transport and so it is easy to get elsewhere in the city. We would happily stay here again. Marianne was a great host too - it felt like nothing was too much trouble and she was easy to contact and gave us some tips for our time in the city.

  • We had a wonderful time in copenhagen, very relaxed town and people.
Marianne was a great host with connections to Petrus, so we got sunny weather after asking for it...
The flat is absolutely beautiful and we felt at home immediatly.
And the bed is bigger than it looks like on the photos, so there is enough space for two.
Go to copenhagen and stay at Marianne´s...
    best wishes
