About this listing

The space

There is a queen-sized bed and a 7-foot, leather sofa and a desk (acquired AFTER the professional photo shoot) in a huge (8'x27'), air-conditioned bedroom on the parlor floor of a brownstone, duplex apartment. The sofa can accommodate a third person. The room is on the upper floor of the duplex. There is a ceiling fan and a high ceiling. Fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available from anywhere within the apartment. The chef's kitchen and the bathroom are on the lower level and are shared with one other person. There is a French, gourmet deli on the corner which is kind of pricey but is very good. There are also many restaurants in the area, some of which are located on DeKalb Ave. G train to Clinton/Washington, two blocks away. Forty minutes from Central Park and Times Sq. A 20-minute walk to Brooklyn Museum or Brooklyn Academy of Music and a 25-minute walk to Prospect Park. Very close to Fort Greene, Williamsburg, Barclays Stadium, The Brooklyn Flea and Pratt. The house is also along the route of the NYC Marathon. Parking is available on the street or in lots in the neighborhood. G-train or A/C-train to Clinton/Washington

Waldemar's brownstone is beautifully furnished, and he himself is a great host. His place is a block away from the G train, and Clinton Hill is a nice, safe upcoming neighborhood in Brooklyn. If you had to be nitpicky, the kitchen were shared with a few people, so it wasn't spotless, but it wasn't a big deal. Finally, his cat Kitty is adorable.

Good spot for a quick trip to Brooklyn. Walkable to public transportation as well as many great shops and restaurants in the area. Waldemar was very easy to communicate with and made me feel welcome. His cat is quite sweet too. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and you can hear noise/conversations from the adjacent apartments.
