We had a lovely stay. The maisonette is just how it is described and both Christian and Marie try to help as much as possible with any problem you have - whether that be a need for a taxi, a restaurant booking or even some medicine if you are not feeling well (like us!). A wonderful stay in a wonderful part of France and we would definitely come and stay again.

Christian and Marie are very welcoming and thoughtful hosts. The extras they provide is a lovely, homely touch. The Maisonnette is beautiful and centrally located to explore this region of France by car. We enjoyed returning back here after our drives and sitting back and having a glass of rosè. The village of Villeneuve-les-Avignon and the Maisonnette is a perfect base to explore Provence. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for your hospitality Christian and Marie.

Christian and Marie's studio villa was great. The pictures do not lie. You get everything you need and the location is perfect for a home base for Provence. Bathroom is small if you are a bigger person FYI.

A charming base to explore the Provence region that delights your senses with its fragrant beauty at every turn. From the jasmine trellis to the fort illuminating the night sky, this home away from home is a slice of heaven. Marie & Christian are kind and thoughtful hosts, available for questions, offering recommendations and genuinely caring about your stay. The added touch of coffee, rose', juice and milk is a true delight. We especially enjoyed the regional rose. The patio and adjoining garden are private offering the perfect spot for morning coffee, dinner or stargazing. The Thursday market pops up a stones throw from the home and is not to be missed. The charming village is a short and lovely walk that ends up in a lively town square with a good variety of cafes and bistros. We can't wait to return and would most certainly stay here again and again.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this maisonette and of course the owners, Marie and Christian. As others have mentioned, the location can not be beat and it is a great base for exploring Avignon and the surrounding areas. The town of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon in itself is perfect to walk around, just the right size with everything located close to the maisonette. Although, you will rarely want to leave because sunny days just sitting on this property's veranda with a cold drink is probably one of the best ways to spend your vacation. While the maisonette is really a small 1 room and 1 bathroom space, you will find it is perfect for two people. There is plenty of storage, a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and a comfortable bed. Just outside the entrance to to the home is a small path that winds through the old village and leads up to Fort Saint-André, with an amazing view of Avignon and a magnificent garden. You can see the fort lit up at night from the maisonette and after long day trips it was what I looked forward to coming 'home' to. Christian and Marie really are 'Super Hosts' who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. They stock the maisonette with drinks, clean towels, laundry soap and all other essentials, but more than that you can really see that they truly care to get to know you and anticipate if you require anything. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend this place.

This was such a wonderful, unique place to stay. The maisonette is cozy and comfortable. We loved having coffee on the porch in the morning. It was also incredibly convenient for parking and exploring, and the bus stop is just down the street to get over to Avignon. Christian and Marie are also perfect hosts! So kind and so helpful. They treated us like friends.
