Spectacular lake home on Locke Lake! Enjoy the lake views from 3 sides of the home and large open floor plan.

Relax on the sandy beach, dock or pedal boat. Light boat traffic on this 133 acre lake (49' deep). Fishing includes Walleye, Crappie, Bluegill, and Bass.

Easy 40 minute commute from the Twin Cities (or 25 min from St. Cloud) and 10 minutes from the Albertville Outlets.

JUNE, JULY & AUGUST $575 night (6 night minimum).

September - May $395 night (3 night minimum).

The space
The home is very large (3,700 sq ft) and has an open concept.

It is listed as a 4 bedroom 2 bath. But, there are 3 bedrooms with the 4th is in the lower level living room (there are no bedroom doors in the 3rd and 4th room, just curtain divider).

The home is large enough to accommodate a small retreat: snowmobilers, hunters, crafters, quilters, scrapbookers, religious, fitness, etc.

Much of the space is modern and has been updated in the past two years. Updates will continue throughout the year(s).

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house, dock, 4 person pedal boat (paddle boat), life jackets, basketball, frisbees, croquet and horseshoes (no garage access).

Other things to note
Cons:
Property is located on the frontage road of highway 94. So, you will hear the hum of the freeway.

Well water (water tastes and smells like well water).

Septic tank (no garbage disposal, flush toilet paper only).

The windows and patio doors need to be replaced (reviewing contractors for 2021).

The yard is “natural” (mowed, but not fertilized). You will see dandelions, crab grass, etc.

Slow internet in Monticello. Can email, zoom and stream TV. But, slow to download photos and documents.

We have the fastest internet available at this time. We hope service is faster in the future.

The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are not formal bedrooms.

The 4th bedroom is the lower level living room with a full sized bed. It does not have a door.

The only privacy between the lower level bunk room and lower level living room is a floor to ceiling curtain.

The cons are pretty minor and common for lake homes. We just want guests to know what to expect.

I am an Airbnb host, a stay at home mom and a financial coach. My hobbies include decorating, up-cycling furniture, growing plants and personal finance. These hobbies all intersect for me as an Airbnb host and allow me to have fun doing all of my hobbies at once. My favorite thing about being an Airbnb host is hearing from our guests before, during and after their stay. I love hearing why guests are staying at our property, since they are typically vacationing or celebrating something. I also love hearing that guests liked their stay so much that they plan to return in the future.
