  • Really great apartment. The neighborhood is really great, with lots of shops, artisans, boutiques, delis and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need (except an oven if you like to cook a lot). Enjoyed the terrace in the sunshine. The only way the place could be improved would be some comfy lounge chairs for the terrace, but then maybe I would have missed out on some Rome tourism. :)

  • The apartment is great. We did not meet Emiliano but met with the Apartment owner Ms. Consuelo. She greeted us with a bottle of wine and some Pizza bread which was a nice touch. The only complaint we had is regarding the shower. The hot water tank seems quite small and does not last overly long so showers have to be short and we found we could only have one with maybe a 30 minute wait between the next shower. Other than that the apartment was great. The location is also very convenient to the subway and many sights.

  • This was a great apartment, just what we needed. The air conditioner was really important after a hot day of exploring Rome. The apt has a tiny clothes washer (but not a dryer by the american sense . . . a "dryer" in the Roman sense means that the washer has a spin cycle). The terrace was a nice thing to have. nice little bathroom, lots of closet space, a small kitchenette. We had a wonderful time and would rent this again. The owner was very helpful. There is an instruction book for the house too that explains everything you can think of.

  • The apartment is very nice in a great central location, .Close to the subway and many restaurants and shops; easy to stay in the neighborhood or see the city. The bed was comfortable (firm) and the bedroom is very quiet. The couch is also comfortable and with the sliding door closed quiet as well. The terrace was great, you can hear the life of a quieter street (people, music, and cars) but it is high up enough to be part of the background.

The only drawback is the bathroom which is very typical of the two apartments we rented- but a little on the small side for our american tastes.

Also I was not sure of reserving the apartment because of the previous feedback about the apartment not being available. I am sure this is because of the recent restoration work being done in the building to the hall and staircase (which is almost finished and beautiful).

I would book this apartment again.
