The agriturismo is actually also our home so we are always there in case of any need or question from our guests
We stayed at Casale Il Caggio for two nights and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The house is a great base for exploring Tuscany but you might just find yourself relaxing in the garden with a bottle of wine instead. Paolo and Gabriella are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home during our stay. Make sure you book in for a home cooked dinner during your stay, Gabriella cooked us the best meal we had during our Italian trip paired with local wines selected by Paolo. The included breakfast is also a highlight. If we’re ever back in Tuscany, we’ll be staying here again.
We spent by Paolo wonderful three days full of relaxation, great food and welcoming approach. Our room was great. Everything was very clean. We had no problem or complain whatsoever.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casale il Caggio. Paolo and Gabrielle are very friendly and hard-working hosts...Gabrielle was always cooking and baking! Her cakes are delicious though and we soon got used to enjoying lots of cake for breakfast! The setting is beautiful, the scenery stunning. I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours so you can appreciate and because you would definitely not find the residence for the first time in the dark!! The pool is a great addition too and very well kept. The gym equipment didn't work but if not too hot it's an nice area to go for a run...you'll need to have after all those great cakes :-). We would definitely return! Thanks Paolo and Gabrielle!
We loved Casale il Caggio. Paolo and Gabriela were amazing hosts. The house, room, pools, yard...everything was beautiful. My wife loved the cooking class wiyh Gabriela and the homemade pasta they made together was sooo good. The food both nights we stayed was incredible. We also met dome really nice couples staying there as well. If we had it to do again we would have spent our entire honeymoon here instead of just 2 days....cant wait to go back.
I've stayed at several Airbnb listings but this one is exceptional. After a very long, hard day of traveling and all going wrong...they welcomed us with smiles, a bottle of wine, and the most incredible dinner we had in Italy. I cannot say enough about the hosts. We were left stranded at the train station because there were no more rental cars available in town but they solved our problem by suggesting we rent a vespa. My husband is an avid motorcyclist so this was right up our alley and better and cheaper than renting a car. Paolo even though he was very busy with work took time to even drive us to get the vespa so that we wouldn't be stranded all day. Paolo's wife is a fantastic cook and they really work hard to make sure you are comfortable and happy. 5 Stars!
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay with Paolo and Gabriella. They are great hosts who know what they are doing when it comes to running a b&b. The room was stunning and extremely comfortable. We found the first night a tad hot so by our second night they had organised a fan which was lovely. The food is nothing short of amazing. We had planned to only eat one dinner there but after the first we were hooked. Stunning food and wine and very reasonably priced. The breakfast (included) really was incredible and such a sight in the morning! The pool and jacuzzi were really nice to use on the hot days and our time quickly filled by relaxing around the property rather than having go out for activities.
We had a wonderful stay at Casale il Caggio. Paolo and Gabriella are kind and generous hosts, and the property is beautiful. Gabriella is an incredible chef - the highlight of our stay was taking a cooking lesson and eating delicious dinner, breakfasts, and many decadent desserts. We hope to return!
