Estuvimos una noche y tanto el trato como el castillo fueron inmejorables. Es un lugar precioso y cuidado al detalle. El desayuno estupendo.
ALison and Paul's chateau was a fabulous place to stay to explore Lautrec and surrounding the Tarn and midi Pyrenees. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were part of a group of wonderful friends, we came and went as we pleased, swam in the pool, were included lovely conversations while sipping on some lovely wine and allowed to enjoy our own space when we wanted time out. We meet other guests and friends over a lovely breakfast on the terrace. They have the art of making you feel like a friend but treating you like a special guest. We did not want to leave and would go back in a second if we could. We would definitely go back if the opportunity ever arose again.
A truly lovely place! The chateau is so beautifully and skilfully restored and you get to enjoy not only the pilgrim chamber but the magical courtyard, the huge sitting rooms, the vast garden and pool, the views from the terrace etc... We felt we got plenty of luxury for small money and would definitely like to come back and spend more time here! Alison and her helpers were all friendly and willing to tell us about the place and its history. The atmosphere was very laid-back, just perfect for unwinding and enjoying life!
The breakfast was served on the terrace and there were plenty of options to choose from (also healthy ones, which wasn't the case in most other places in France!)
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau and our hosts were friendly and very helpful. I would certainly recommend the chateau to anyone that wants to experience the lovely countryside! Also enjoyed the interaction with volunteers.
